A short 10 minute walk to a shopping street provides some off-property choices. Wine, soft drinks and snacks at a tiny shop just off the property. The only down side is that, because it's on the bay side, there is no sound of surf and no long beach walks. We loved our stay here although I would not recommend a studio Unit. Not sure if just our unit but it was not sound proof and we were woken every night by noise from next unit. There was an interconnecting door and this where the noise came from. Other than this we thought the complex was lovely. The pools were fantastic and because there are so Many were never overcrowded. Food at restaurant was always very nice. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Don’t be put off by the entrance to Peninsula Bay Resort, it is beautiful once you are down there. We will come back but stay in a one bedroom appartment. They are very spacious with good size balconies or patio where you sit and watch the amazing sunsets. Friendly staff & great breakfast. The area is a 30 minute drive from the main tourist beaches & shopping area, but this area is not noisy or crowded & it is easy to hire a scooter or get a cheap taxi to get around the area. Hôtel très sympa. Propre et qui offre toutes les commodités. .. 4 piscines dont une immense avec bar dans l'eau. Une jaccuzi. Restaurants supermarché massage à environ 300m à pied .personnel très sympa et respectueux . Les studios vue jardin sont bien équipés belle terasse cuisine grand lit ...prix abordable pour des prestations plus que correctes ... petit dejeuner peu varié mais de bonne qualité. .. transfert aéroport à environ 10 euros pour une prestation personnalisée. Calme verdoyant avec une plage propre ce qui n'est pas commun à Bali donnant sur une lagune et non pas sur l'océan mais qui pour moi est un avantage . Les autres plages sont touristiques avec tout les inconvenients (sollicitations et autres) et sales ce qui n'est pas le cas dans l'hôtel. ... excellent sejour dans l'ensemble ... Voyageant beaucoup je n'ai pas pour habitude de laisser des commentaires. .. There was something organised by the staff each night, such as a movie night, balinese dancers, Indonesian cooking, karoke night and more. The food was delicious and it was in big portions. The pool was clean and the swim up bar was always attended by staff. The Wifi connection was really good. I had an hour full body massage for roughly $8 Australian Dollars and it was the best massage I have ever had. There was also a shuttle bus which drove to and from the Peninsula Beach Resort, which was great to mix things up. With the amount of activities organised there was no real need to leave the resort and spend money (other than on food or drinks). Milkshake lane as we call it hasn't changed and the entrance to Peninsula Bay is both under whelming. Reception has opened since last I was there - beautiful, but being on the western side of Tanjung Benoa, no breeze as Peninsula Beach has and no AC made it very hot. As I was sharing with a friend, we decided to upgrade from a Studio to a 1 Bedroom- 1st floor room with huge master suite walkthrough bathroom/dressing room, kitchenette with full fridge and large comfortable lounge (just as well as that's where I got to sleep) with TV and then out to the balcony. TV reception was poor to say the least, most of the English speaking channels we distorted. The free wifi worked great for the 1st week, then 5 days of nothing and no communication from management as to what was happening-great when trying to run a business whilst away. F&B - breakfast nothing special but all that you need, lunch around the huge pool standard and as you would expect, dinner over priced and sub standard - after eating in once we chose to eat out every other night. Swim up bar is great, but too often spoilt by kids splashing about at the bar. There are 5 pools in all but children only seem interested in the swim up bar.
