Room smelt a little unused when we arrived, but otherwise clean as youd expect at Ibis..excellent breakfast and all staff very friendly and efficient. Cleaning team work very hard.

The hotel is in an ideal location for traveling by train or bus and being able to walk to lodging. It was also ideal for walking to the Christkindlmarkt and shopping and dining. Our room was small; it was clean and the bed was comfortable. No frills. I would have liked to have a bathmat (we used the handtowel to stand on after showering). I missed not having a hot water cooker to make tea and coffee and missed not having a small refrigerator.

Staff was not friendly or helpful, sometimes rude. Very basic accomodations however they were clean and well maintained. The breakfast, 15euros is a good deal and makes for an easy start to your day.

The hotel.is very basic, fine. But i never slept morw than 3 hours at any point. Noise and building works that i was not told about. Horrid experience from the moment i arrived.

Breakfast was excellent. Parking was an expensive and easy in the parking garage attached to the building. Staff was pleasant and spoke English, which was nice. Rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable and I would stay here again.

I stayed here before and will happily do so again.
I stayed at this hotel last year and chose to stay here again as it was in a very central position, close to the train station as well as all local amenities. With Ibis hotels you can always rely on a consistent standard, reliable service and a at a very reasonable price.

Perfect location near train station, old town, tram lines and restaurants. Staff was great, the room was great, no issues at all. It was extremely hot on the first day but the A/C in the was able to meet the demand.

Really enjoyed my stay here, but would have been better if you could be in the lobby without smelling smoke. I don't think anyone was smoking inside, but it came in when people would smoke outside the revolving door. Would probably be better if they could require smokers to stand farther away.

Nuremberg over Christmas 2021.
Overall a very well located hotel near the central train station. Well within reach to food and transport. We arrived over the very quiet Christmas period so not much luck with food options. Hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. Cheapest hotel on-site parking I paid during my Germany trip. Had to switch rooms once due to air-conditioning issue. Breakfast was better than expected and the breakfast server lady was fantastically efficient.

So very CONVENIENT! Right opposite the train station, they have on-site parking, just opposite is the old city... Tonnes to shops and restaurants within strolling distance. They just need to encourage guests to smoke further away from the main entrance, otherwise lobby can be smoky.

Pleasant surprise
This ibis was really a pleasant surprise. It was very near to the central station and the city center. And for me, the best thing was that my room was very, very quiet and I could sleep very well. Just be aware that the room (and specially the bathroom) are small. For sure, I would stay over there again.

I’m a loyal Ibis customer with repeated stays in Vienna, Lausanne, London, and long stays in Singapore, and Tokyo. My perception is that this property has a rating higher than it should be simply because the property is due for a refresh. It was clean, the staff were very friendly, which is a something extremely important for any business traveler. I cannot overstate how pleased I was with the staff and how they calmly and very efficiently dealt with a computer failure that impacted the electronic door keys - Kudos to the staff for minimizing the inconvenience for everyone! My frame of reference for a top notch Ibis is their Wien Hauptbahnhof property, followed by Singapore and Lausanne. With a refresh I’d give this property an even higher rating.

Room was hot
The room was very hot when we arrived, there was air conditioning but it was turned off in the hotel. We opened the window but there was no privacy. Room was very small , smaller than all the other ibis we stayed at.Other than that the service was good and so was breakfast. Close to train station.

Excellent but too Warm in the Room
This hotel would have been great except the shut down the air conditioner making the room uncomfortable and the windows faced the street. When told this was a problem the said to ask for a room in the rear ahead of time. That did not help. I am not happy about that answer.
