Amenities great, quiet chill atmosphere. great for big groups, you can book the whole villa and have privacy. Staff very accommodating. Shivji, great manager and he is your go to man.

I’m happy to strongly recommend Terry’s Villa to anyone traveling to Nungwi. I stayed there with my family, and we had a spectacular experience from start to finish. The villa itself was clean, spacious, and very comfortable — especially appreciated after long days exploring Zanzibar’s beautiful beaches. Although the villa is located a few minutes from the beach, it’s still within easy walking distance, which made getting around very convenient. A special mention goes to the manager, Shivji, who was incredibly attentive, helpful, and always available whenever we needed assistance. His hospitality really made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay at Terry’s Villa again.

A Hidden Gem in Nungwi!

Terry’s Villa is truly a hidden gem! The location is perfect — just a quick 2-minute walk to the beach, close enough to enjoy the ocean but tucked away for peace and quiet. The breakfast was absolutely amazing every morning — fresh fruit, eggs, pancakes, and delicious juice. Danny and Tabitha made sure we were well taken care of the entire stay. They’re so kind and helpful, and Danny can even accompany you on excursions or help plan local trips if you want an authentic experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with good Wi-Fi and air-conditioning. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Zanzibar!

Terry Villa is a hidden gem! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the stunning views and tranquil atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. I particularly enjoyed the delicious meals served at the restaurant, which featured fresh, local ingredients. The pool area was a great place to relax and soak up the sun. I highly recommend Terry Villa to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway. Also the manager was soo friendly shivji sanatu he is the best..he made sure i have all what i needed for my stay..

Terry’s Villa Zanzibar

It was a great stay, the staff is amazing especially the manager! I strongly recommend a stay at Terrys Villa if you want to experience Hakuna Matata! Very close to the beach but still secluded and private!

I arrived from the airport to the hotel at 3AM! They had a room ready for me but the lights were off the shower didn’t have water and the air conditioning wasn’t working because. Of a power outage! They then moved me to another room that had all the same problems as the first room. I couldn’t sleep there it was 38 degrees Celsius in the room which is 100 Fahrenheit! I asked to leave at 6 am and they refused to open the gates of the hotel until I paid them! I had to argue and fight with them to let me leave and then they finally opened the gates and I walked on a dirt road for 15 minutes until I got to the next closest hotel! I’m now staying at the Yasa Boutique Hotel and they have a back up generator and all the proper amenities to be able to have a good time on vacation!

Quand nous sommes arrivés la chambre etait déjà prise par quelqu’un d’autre mais ils ont su réagir tout de suite en nous relogeant pour la première nuit ! Le lendemain nous avons pu profiter de ce logement très propre le personnel et très serviable ! A environ 2 km à pied de la grande route principale ! Le plus dans ce logement c la proximité d’une plage de rêve calme et sans personne c t le top

Villaen er helt fantastisk! Den ligger perfekt til, nær stranden, men samtidig litt unna stresset og maset i sentrum av Nungwi, som enkelt kan nås på bare 5 minutter med tuk-tuk. Shivji, manageren, er utrolig hyggelig, profesjonell og alltid tilgjengelig. Dani, som organiserer turer, er også veldig snill og hjelpsom. Eierinnen ga meg all informasjonen jeg trengte via Instagram og var alltid rask til å svare. Da jeg fikk et problem med bankkortet mitt, hjalp de meg med en gang og fikk meg til å føle meg trygg. De vasket også klærne mine til en veldig rimelig pris. Jeg angrer virkelig på at jeg ikke tilbrakte mer tid i villaen – det føltes som et lite paradis. Jeg kommer definitivt tilbake og anbefaler dette stedet på det varmeste!
