Just 30 minutes’ drive are the traditional seaside resorts of Cromer and Sheringham to provide a great day out for all the family. Sea fishing is available at Bacton beach, so be sure to bring your sea fishing rod.  
  
Wroxham, 13 miles, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads National Park, has many riverside restaurants, cafés and shops. The waterways are best explored by boat and are rich in bird life and wildlife. Daily river trips and boat hire available. Avid gardeners will enjoy The Old Vicarage Gardens at East Runton and National Trust Sheringham Park, and for keen golfers, the Royal Cromer and Mundesley golf courses will not disappoint. Other National Trust properties include Felbrigg and Blickling Hall. The city of Norwich is just over 20 miles away and provides excellent shopping malls, market square, theatre, cinema complexes, museums and many pubs and restaurants.
