Overlooking the busy quay on the River Yare, this pretty holiday cottage, one of 3, enjoys its own south-facing sun terrace with garden furniture. With its panoramic views across the marshes, and surrounded by quiet country lanes, it’s the perfect place for relaxing, cycling or walking.

    Many local attractions include Gt Yarmouth for family fun, the glorious beach and coastal walks at Winterton, seal watching at Horsey, the pretty market town of Acle and Cromer, famous for its seafood and pier shows. Take a trip on the river or hire a boat at nearby Wroxham, the capital of the Broads. Children will love Petitts Farm in the village or BeWILDerwood close-by, a treetop adventure park.

    The nearby train station offers easy access to medieval Norwich, with its fine shopping, cathedral, castle, museums and restaurants or Gt Yarmouth and Lowestoft In the other direction. Beach 10 miles. Shop, 2 pubs serving food within 150yds, fish & chips, tea rooms and deli all within close walking distance.

Lovely property in a great location

A clean and well looked after property. Super to be able to sit outside of an evening and watch the activity on the river. Enjoyed meals at both of the local pubs. Plenty to do round and about.

The cottage is in the most amazing location the description doesn’t do it justice. I would’ve given it a higher overall score apart from the problem with the shower. Water was coming out at a scalding heat and could not be used, the NB at the end of the welcome note, that was behind the microwave which obviously wasn’t found straight away, said it couldn’t be fixed at present due to Covid 19, however when we looked through the visitors comments book we discovered there was mention of the problem in October 2019 before the pandemic started. I did contact the owner to report it and she suggested we “twiddle with the knob and the heat would reduce”, it didn’t. It created a major problem with 5 people trying to shower with a hand held over bath one for a week. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Excellent cottage, like a home from home making it a comfortable place to stay. Super facilities & well equipped. The views from the front bedrooms are beautiful for watching the deer in the distance. We were fortunate enough to have amazing weather too, which added to our week away. There are 2 pubs in either direction right on the doorstep, very welcoming & a good variety of food. We loved watching the boats go by, such a peaceful location but near enough for exploring other areas. WE WOULD RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We stayed at the cottage in October 20, two pubs within 100 yards, one left and one right. Couldn't fault the amenities in the accommodation, there are even books and dvds left in there for you to enjoy. The view over looking the river and fields is beautiful, could not fault this place at all. Reedham itself is only a small village but there is a fish and chip shop and convenience store (along with the pubs) so everything you need is on your doorstep. If you want to venture further afield the railway station is a 10-15 minute walk away. This cottage comes highly recommended. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We stayed at Reedcutters in Reedham over Christmas and when we arrived the owners had put up a Christmas tree and a few decorations which was a nice surprise . The cottage was really lovely , the dining kitchen was great ( cooked thr turkey in the excellent cooker) lots of equipment etc.The two bathrooms were also a bonus , would certainly recommend .
