The best time to visit Northwood, Harare, is during the dry season, which runs from May to October.During these months, you'll experience pleasant, warm days with very little rainfall, making it ideal for exploring the area and enjoying outdoor activities. The temperatures are comfortable, typically ranging from 20°C to 25°C, without the intense heat or humidity of the summer months. This period is particularly good for those looking to visit the nearby botanical gardens or engage in wildlife viewing at local conservancies, as the dry conditions make animals easier to spot near water sources. The shoulder months of May and October are especially lovely, offering slightly cooler temperatures and fewer crowds than the peak dry season. You'll find it's a superb time for couples seeking a relaxing getaway, as the weather is consistently agreeable for dining al fresco or enjoying leisurely strolls. The clear skies and comfortable evenings also make it superb for stargazing. While the wet season (November to April) brings lush greenery and dramatic thunderstorms, it can also mean higher humidity and occasional heavy downpours that might disrupt travel plans.
