"The hotel was good. Slept very well, room was clean and orderly. Housekeeping cleaned the room but didn’t make the bed which was odd. But not a big deal. Emptied one trash can but missed the other. Only one elevator was working this time. Have stayed here before and these items are minor. Breakfast was standard Hyatt Place food, it was good. Would stay here again due to past experiences, location and value."

"I loved checking out the Hollywood history and stars from the 1930s and 40s who stayed here while making Westerns in the beautiful surrounding landscape of the four corners. I was also thrilled to learn unexpectedly, that I was staying in the Robert Mitchum room at the El Rancho, one of my favorite stars from Hollywood’s golden age!"
