"First, this house was in a great spot. Its about mid way between the esat and west entrances to the park and since we wanted to explore the whole area we could easily head out in different directions. There was plenty of seating in the house, the kitchen was fairly well equipped. The town itself is tiny…a couple of shops, a general store type place, and a couple of restaurants. Nothing fancy, not lots of variety, but all the basics."

"Very nice property both inside and out. Get groceries before you arrive in Columbia Falls or other. Private cabin or you can visit with neighbors. Beautiful decor. We were in the Fisherman cabin. Caretakers on property so easy to talk with. We felt very safe and it was quiet. Someone mentioned railroad nearby, but barely heard train at night. Well stocked kitchen. "

The serenity of the river behind the property and the view of the mountains were all you needed to feel relaxed and away from city life. I am sorry the hotel is about a 5-hour flight away from where I live; otherwise, I would have visited them more often."

"I have been visiting the Izaak Walton for most of my life and each time is special. Yes it might be an older building and have occasional problems related to age but the inn is possibly the most unique in all of Montana. The staff are always top notch and professional and the location is amazing! "

"Beautiful property. Gotta know what you’re getting into. Some showers are small and any conversation in your room will be heard by your neighbors. Some rooms are a few flights of stairs with your luggage. Still a very 5 star experience. Go sit on a balcony for sunset and feel like a king "
