" This is a lovely, small historic hotel in downtown Fairplay. Nice sitting areas in the lobby, garden room, upstairs, and outside on the deck with a view of the small lake and mountains. Rooms are very homey with different themes and decor to match. We stayed in the “Nature” room. Small gift shop next to lobby. Great breakfast with variety of hot and cold items, including fresh fruit, omelets and homemade blueberry bread. Friendly and helpful staff."

"First of the drive to the property was stunning as we were fortunate enough to catch the beginning of the Fall colors with one evening of snow fall that left the beautiful mountain tops covered in glistening white snow. The cabin was nicely nestled on the edge of Browns pass so lots of wildlife could be captured throughout our stay. The cabin was clean and organized with basic essentials. All the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Easy access to town and surrounding areas. Our family enjoyed...
