Excellent all round. Lovely hotel. Lovely staff. Great food. Very impressed

We had a great trip. Ludmil is a wonderful host! We enjoyed the different Bulgarian pastries each morning & his chats about Bulgarian history, plus advice on where to go & how to get there. He also took us one day to Rila Monastery, a trout restaurant & Boyana Church. This was a more relaxing trip than if we'd gone on a coach tour!

*Wonderful Stay in a Quiet and Stylish Hotel* ✨ The hotel is located on a peaceful street, just a short 6-minute walk from the metro station. The surrounding area is vibrant, with plenty of great bars and restaurants to explore. Initially, I booked a room on the first floor, which was a bit too close to the reception and had windows facing the restaurant. Fortunately, the staff kindly helped us switch to a suite on the third floor—and it was perfect! The room was quiet, beautifully designed,...

Very nice hotel, great location and great view (cathedral side)

Love it

The best hotel in Sofia. Really excellent service, incredible views, spacious rooms, really comfy beds and just an amazing breakfast! Really could not fault it, cannot wait to stay there again.

Arrived Sunday afternoon. I didn't use the shuttle service from the hotel, contact them before hand to arrange this. Taxi was 8 LEV with a tip and took about 10/ 15 minutes. My room was ready and very good food is available at the bar. In the evening the piano was being played, contemporary Beatle songs, etc arrangements, it was very good. I stayed for two nights for business and the location was convenient for the airport and client. Unfortunately I didn't get chance to visit the center of...

We loved our stay at Rila! It was the best location for the slopes & we loved the huge variety of food we were offered for breakfast and dinner! We loved the surprise of having a live singer in the lounge downstairs after dinner, it was a lovely addition to some of our evenings! Our room was really spacious too & staff were really helpful at reception when we needed anything!

Really convenient location, right next to the metro, 15 minute walk to centre. The rooms were quiet and clean and matched the photos. Only slight difficulty was finding the hotel as there are no large signs. There is a paper print out on the door which I walked past the first time.

Stayed for three nights and had a great stay. Very good location, close to the main boulevard and metro. Nice bright room, very tidy. Breakfast was included, which was a bonus. The restaurant at the hotel was very reasonably priced and delicious. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

At this price point, Hotel Grand, in Samakov, is excellent value. The owner, Stanislav, was very helpful and gave us great service. The room was fine, the restaurant was fine, the bar was fine. There are 4 large supermarkets very near the hotel. We like supermarkets :) We had a great, comfortable stay. Thank you Stanislav and your team :)

All was good. Staff was very helpful. Rooms are clean.

Amazing value near bars and restaurants highly recommend

Efficient and good value.

This hotel is the only one you really want to stay at when you're going for a conference at the Expo Center in Sofia. The hotel itself offers a near perfect service, the expo center is litterally 2 minutes walk away, and if you want to go in town, a further 2 min walk will take you to the metro station. Execpt that, don't count on any other interesting surroundings.

great area
