Guest access
Guests are limited to the land that we own and public property. We provide maps clearly marking our property lines in the Welcome Book. The cabins located to the left of the private road are not affiliated with The Honeybee Cabin and guests are not permitted on their private land/road. The closet in the bunk bed room and several cabinets are locked for supplies and not available to guests. In the game room, the large tool chest and the cabinets above the bar are locked and off limits to guests. The furnace room and the closets in the downstairs living area are blocked by furniture and also not accessible to guests. We also request guests stay off of the stone steps to the left of the house as they are not in good repair.
Other things to note
Please note that some amenities are seasonal and not available year round. We cannot guarantee that the weather or the river’s water levels will be ideal for your stay, as both vary frequently and can be unpredictable - even daily!
We allow up to three pets and all must be pre-registered. There is a modest pet fee. Guests will incur a fee for any pet waste left behind.
The Honeybee Cabin is not a party or event venue. This includes weddings. We don’t allow camping or RVs to increase occupancy. The first 4 guests are included in the base rate. All overnight guests must be included in the reservation. Daily visitors must be approved by hosts.
THC embraces a 420-friendly policy, allowing respectful outdoor-only smoking in accordance with state laws. Guests will incur an additional cleaning fee for any smoking stubs not properly disposed of.

Beautiful home right on the Sacandaga River. Lots of fun just hanging out in the river, splashing around. Would come back in second. Close to the towns of Northville and Speculator for groceries and restaurants.

#### Great cabin trip in the Adirondacks
We had a full house - 11 people and 1 pet. The cabin was very well maintained and clean. We really appreciated the bee themed trinkets throughout the house. There was a beautiful Christmas tree as well. The host was very easy to communicate with. 10/10 - would recommend.

Our vacation at Honeybee Cabin was wonderful. Beautiful spacious house, room for all. Awesome fire pit area! Loved the screened in porch. River was pretty, but with the storms and rain that occurred right before we went, the water was moving fast, so no chance to swim. Everything was perfect for our vacation week!

#### Everything you could dream of for a vacation home in the ADK
This is the perfect place for a vacation. Theres too much to do in a few days so it would be worth staying for a week. Its a large property that is a perfect size for a big family and is fairly seculded. The river is so serene and was very calm with a very cool island to explore with a pebbled beach area that is perfect for dogs. The firepit along the water is beautiful. I absolutely loved sitting on the deck and they even have a screened porch for when the bugs get bad. The house is much bigger than it looks like in the pictures and it was so clean! They put so much thought into every detail, its truly impressive!

#### Nature At It’s Finest!
This 2 night getaway was everything my boyfriend, our two pups and myself could ask for. The scenic drive from CT was gorgeous, the house was immaculate, well equipped for cooking, gorgeous views and the hot tub was perfection. We played games, cooked, went for a gorgeous hike with the dogs, saw deer,a bald eagle and my boyfriend saw a young moose while I was still sleeping 🙂! Julie was incredibly responsive and sweet. She made the process extremely easy. We would love to return for a summer and fall visit!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

#### Thxgiving @ The Honeybee
We (2 parents, 4 teen kids) spent 3-4 nights at the cabin, and celebrated Thanksgiving with a full traditional meal that we prepared on Thursday. Our kids (teens) tried out the hot tub, despite 30-degree outdoor temp and a solid layer of snow on the ground. They enjoyed. We were pretty much couch potatoes, otherwise. Too bad we didn't have slightly more cooperative weather, yet, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and highly recommend the cabin. Nicely decorated, comfy beds, kitchen well-stocked (pans, dishes, cooking utensils, etc.), nice bathroom & TV room. We really didn't need anything.

#### Pure Perfection in Every Aspect!
From the ease of booking, to the exceptional communication, understanding, helpfulness, kindness, and flexibility of Julie and Gina, our stay with our 2 fur babies was beyond what we hoped for and expected. The cabin has such a modern, yet rustic feel meshed in one. The attention to detail in and around the cabin is very telling as to how much time and effort the hosts put into making sure you feel comfortable and relaxed. The gameroom, hot tub, books, board games, fire pit, river, and location are enough to make you want to spend every minute at the cabin and not leave for anything. I can honestly say that our dogs enjoyed the Adirondack dog bed the best after a day of swimming and exploring/hiking. Honeybee Cabin is a true gem and we can't wait to go back. 😊🐾

#### Great Family Get Away!
We spent two enjoyable weeks at the Honey Bee Cabin with our children, grandchildren and two golden doodles. The cabin was exceptionally clean, the beds were comfortable, the decor was charming with an Adirondack flair and the whole cabin is very roomy! There is an additional bathroom, laundry room and family room with extra sleeping downstairs which came in handy for our family and really adds to the already sizable space. The kids really enjoyed the game room and took advantage of the table and bar space to build Legos, play games and do artwork along with the ping pong and pool table provided. There is a great view of the river from the cabin and the property is well kept. I’d have to say my husband and grandsons favorite part was definitely the river where they fished every day and were able to catch some sizable brown trout and small mouth bass. We ended most nights with a campfire by the river. Our whole family had a great stay which was enhanced by the thoughtfulness of our hosts and the wonderful communication with Julie.

#### Everything you need
The house is situated on a big piece of land with a great view of the river. The road does have neighbors but they are spaced nicely. It sits back on Rt. 30 so you can hear some cars but you can’t see them. Once you are down by the river, it feels like you are in the middle of no where. The house itself is well stocked with amenities like shampoo, soap, cleaning supplies, towels and all kitchen gadgets needed. The house is much bigger than the pictures suggest. Every room had a ceiling fan which is nice because it does warm up, I believe there was air conditioning but we didn’t use. Sitting on the porch in the mornings relaxing. The hot tub was in good condition and ready for use. They had kayaks, my son used one because the water level was high when we were there. The game room is set up so well, the boys had a blast playing ping pong. The fire pit has 6 chairs and a perfect view of the river. The owners are communicative and responsive, including having detailed instructions in a binder for your stay. The dog run is adequate. We were able to utilize the location to take a hike to Auger Falls and to Speculator for a nice drive and grab some icecream. Hope falls is another hike that is just minutes away. This is a great house for families who just want to get away to relax. The town of wells is not far and offers some amenities if needed but the owners have you covered on most items.

Beautiful home and property. Very thoughtful and attentive owners. Mid August stay, river level was too low for kayaking and tubing. We explored nearby woods lake and tenant creek falls. Great stay!

#### Honeybee review
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Honeybee! The home is super clean, and decorated brilliantly for the Adirondacks. Anything you may have forgotten is in the home if need be, dogs included. The river was peaceful, and the large outdoor yard was private and relaxing. The front porch and screened in porch were great sitting areas to view the scenic river front. I would say the only thing that would have started our journey smoother, would be a sign or house number designating the actual property. We were not quite sure we were in the correct location at first arrival. Thank you for sharing your Adirondack home with us!

#### Wedding Get Together
I think it says it all when each of our family members who stayed in this home became very excited and went through the house exclaiming what a good job I did finding the Honey Bee Cabin. The decor of the home was Adirondack theme. The bedrooms were large, beds comfortable. There is one bathroom but this never seemed to be an issue even with 6 adults. There is a bunk bed room with toys and books. So cute! You could have coffee either using the kurig or regular pot. Kitchen is very well stocked. It rained while we were there so we were not able to take advantage of the fire pit and outdoor spaces. My favorite spot was the porch. I got up every morning early, brewed a cup of coffee, and sat in the porch sipping while listening to the birds and rain. Just what was needed before and after my daughters wedding that took place just 10 miles away in Northville. Our hosts were attentive and very easy to get a hold of. Thank you for such an amazing place to stay. We will be back!
