"The location of this condo is spot on. Everything. was easily assessable. Parking was a plus. It's a partially covered garage so that was nice. The unit was clean. Washer and dryer are in the unit . I didn't think I would need them but it turned out that I needed the dryer to dry clothing. The host was responsive when contacted. I would stay at the unit again."

"We ended up going on a diff weekend due to storm blocking roads. Nice they allowed us to change despite policy. However few problems with our stay 1. Housekeeping. We asked for extra comforter / duvet as we had 4 guests in that each preferred own blanket. Multiple times had to re-ask as housekeeping kept taking them during cleaning and turndown. On top of this there were some shelves covered in thick layer of dust. Superficial job. 2. Food was OK. Manzanita was decent but lobby and taco place weren’t very good. 3. Main pool and hot tub closed for maint. Spa pool was open for use but was looking forward to hot tub. 4. Ski in / out not possible due to lack of snow — sometimes a ski Sherpa from Northstar would help drive down guests, but only if you had a lesson otherwise they’d fuss. So either hike down mountain with skis or take 2 gondolas."

"This home wasn’t what we were expecting. It felt as if someone lived there and vacated for the weekend. Although it appeared to be clean, it felt cluttered. There was food in the freezer - so much that we didn’t have a lot of space to add much more. There were cleaning products and the vacuum left out when we arrived including a glass of water on the window sill and other items left on the counters. It felt very strange. The lighting upstairs was dim. In fact, the main kitchen light was out and left us with poor light for cooking. We sent a message about this and got an apology 3 hours later but nothing about resolving the issue. The house is very outdated. Not that this is a problem - we wanted a home with a cabin feel, but it just added to the long list of issues we found. It was advertised as a home of almost 5,000 square feet, but it is not! Zillow has it listed for 2,762 square feet. It was advertised as having video games but there were none. The garage was unavailable for use, and the passes to Northstar were not free as advertised. On top of this, there was only one working smoke detector in the home. Things we did like: the bear decor, pool table, tons of games and seating for a large group. Plenty of rooms for everyone. The location was lovely but no place for kids to play. With a few modifications this place would be great! Fresh paint, better lighting, ceiling fans and some better frying pans. Maybe even tear out that old carpet! Guests should also have full"

"The house is a nice layout for large groups and the beds were comfy. The hot tub was clean and the backyard was pretty and peaceful. For the price, I would have expected the kitchen to be better appointed. For instance, there was no cocktail shaker (although it has a bar), there were less cups for water than we had guests, and there was no foil or parchment for cooking. We did enjoy our stay."

"In spring conditions this wasn't really a ski-in-ski-out stay. The snow did not reach the condo. The space was quite cramped and worn. The mattress on the pull out couch would only be suitable for a child as it was very worn and sagging. It was also quite dirty. The rec center, a short drive away, had no facilities available other than a workout room and arcade, i.e. no hot tub or pool. Would have been fine for non picky family in excellent ski conditions. "
