Reviewer Comments: Great location. I know the owners are working hard and this potentially will be a gem, but right now it needs serious updates. There is a bad sewer odor most likely from disintegrating cast iron sewer lines under the cabin. Reviewer Comments: This was a great spot for a long weekend for my husband and me. Plenty of room for two people. The fireplace was nice and the kitchen had the basics (though no basic ingredients, e.g. cooking oil). The location was the best feature though- right on Grand Traverse Bay with a gorgeous view out the back of the house. Close to several wineries and hiking trails. Less than a mile from Northport, so very walkable. The cons: The home had a horrible smell when we arrived. We opened all the windows and turned on fans. That helped a little. It got better every day, especially when we bought an air freshener. There were also tiny ants that showed up if we left any food on the counter.
