"It was a very cute cozy cabin. It had all the basic necessities including oven, microwave, refrigerator which was nice but the cleanliness of the house was below average. Dust could be seen on the walls, the bathroom mirror had not been cleaned. There was splatter of some kind on the bathroom wall just above the mirror. "The property was in a great location and convenient to all areas around Traverse City. The bedrooms were comfortable, the child safety gates were helpful, they even provided a pack ‘n play last minute for us. The only downside of the stay/location is that the pool was listed as heated and open through Labor Day. The pool was open and even though there were days of 85+ degree weather, it was not heated and this not usable; areas of Lake Michigan were actually warmer. Other than that, I would...

"First the owners were very responsive in answering some questions we had before booking, and in making us feel welcomed. The location was convenient to get into TC or anywhere on the peninsula. The home looks just like in the pictures and is very tidy. Cozy living room, comfortable beds, clean kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of seating areas inside and out. Grandma’s home was perfect for our group of six. We had a fantastic stay!"

"Loved this property. Comfortable, roomy, perfectly equipped home with million dollar views of sparkling aquamarine Torch Lake. We enjoyed coffee on the porch in the morning as well as glorious sunsets! Had fun playing pool in the game room and shopping in the sweet town of Alden during our one rainy day. "We loved staying at this house. It is very clean and well stocked. There are plenty of pots/pans/silverware/plates/cups/bowls etc. There are spices but if you need cooking oil and also baggies/foil, bring your own. The rooms are spacious and there are enough closets/drawers to put your stuff. Lots of blankets and pillows. One bed is quite hard but it fixed the crook in my back! Internet is strong. There is a TV in one bedroom and in the livingroom which allowed us to spread out for chill time....

"Great communication about property and surrounding area. Well equipped kitchen but microwave on top of refrigerator, very high. Great fire ring outside and close walk to lake. Nice shower upstairs but also need shower downstairs as tub inaccessible for most seniors. Windows everywhere so felt we were living in the woods."
