Grand Hotel in Porto Cervo

"A beautiful property with one notable service flaw. During our two-night stay, we loved the hotel's prime location. Having a private beach just a three-minute walk away is incredibly convenient, and both the swimming pool and the breakfast spread are top-notch. That said, the room service left a lot to be desired. It took the staff two days just to bring us a clothes steamer, which was an irritating oversight. A great hotel overall, but they need to tighten up their guest requests."

"We had an amazing holiday here at Mangia in Sardinia. Secluded location away from busy cities, right on the beach; perfect for complete relaxation. I would recommend renting a car so that you can explore nearby towns such as Santa Theresa and to explore other beaches such as Capo Testa when you want to leave the grounds. From the moment we arrived, we felt very well taken care of by Angel. We arrived a bit early so they stowed our luggage away until our room was ready (we were able to have full access to the amenities while we waited). The room was ready an hour before check in, 20 minutes after we arrived. Our room was located on the third level (halfway point between the lobby and the beach). There are a lot of stairs on the property to navigate, but still completely walkable. Food options were tasty, though limited between 2:30pm and 6:30pm. We paid for breakfast to be included and opted to dine at the à la carte restaurants for lunch and dinner as well as other restaurants outside of the property. Had the best pizza, fregula and calamari on our entire trip (Sicily and Sardinia). And even BETTER service. We dined at their more upscale restaurant called Donna Fliorana and met Joey who also worked at Scausa Grill. He was professional, personable and such a great help with recommendations for wine and food. He went above and beyond and really made our dining experience special. His coworker Joshua was also very kind and helpful!"

"Lovely time. Lent us a beach umbrella for free. Solid breakfast menu. Infinity pool. There’s no Ubers so you def have to have a car (10 min drive) to get to the city. I believe there’s also a bus but I’m not sure how frequent. Overall, lovely stay. Would return."
