"The hotel was very central to many transport hubs, eateries, tourist attractions and shopping areas. We were able to do much of what we wanted in close proximity to the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. There was a good selection of tasty offerings at breakfast and the staff very helpful."

"Great location just opposite train station. Walkable to most places. Tram stop just outside. Room was very comfortable. Only a small window though. Breakfast was great so many options. Pool facilities were really good. It's like a 5* hotel."

"I’ve stayed at The Strand twice now and loved my experience both times. It’s an affordable upscale hotel in a great central location. Many main attractions are within walking distance. For those that aren’t, there are several tube stations nearby to get you where you need to go. I’ve stayed both as a solo traveler and with family. It’s a perfect stay for both. The Haxell breakfast was great. In the evening, Matt behind the bar made the best cocktails. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Great location. The hotel was ok. The room was clean, but so small. There were very loud noises from the cleaning lady around 7:30AM that woke me up. She was cleaning 2 rooms next to mine in very early hours and she did it too loudly."
