Staff was kind and check in was easy. The room, however, is a typical run-down motel with thin walls. Was quite drafty and I listened to the person next door snore all night. I find it was quite overpriced at 150$ a night. Tends to be more aligned with what you could expect for a 90$ a night hotel.

I liked the proximty to the boardwalk along the North Channel. It was peaceful. The motel was close to grocery store, and other shops. The area was quiet and ideal for relaxing after a long day of travel. All in all, I would stay here again if passing this way.

This is advertised as a cottage but is actually two rooms in a motel joined together with a shared bathroom. Clean and comfortable. A little expensive for off season but we needed to be on chi-cheemaun early next morning. Close to fuel and a great restaurant- Elliott's.
