"Nicest Fairfield I’ve stayed in. Water park was a hit with the kids after being in the car all day. Best hotel breakfast I’ve had in years - waffles and bacon were perfect. "

"We really enjoyed the lodge. The lady at the front desk could have given us more information about the amenities. I felt like she didn’t want to talk to us. I also wish there was an outdoor pool we would have probably stayed an extra day. Other than that rooms were clean & loved having the trolley take us to town. "

"The man at check-in was so friendly - but not over the top weird! Great guy! The woman taking care of the food was SO sweet! She is doing an excellent job! The food was more than I expected with eggs, sausage, potatoes, yogurt, bagels & cream cheese, and all the other normal stuff at a continental breakfast. The hallways/lobby were quite dingy (they do have a sign up saying they are remodeling but I didn't see much evidence of it) and I was a little nervous what the room would be like, but when we opened the door it was beautiful! So clean and updated and didn't even feel like it belonged to the same hotel! Hands down this place was worth it! And my kids enjoyed the pool (although it would be nice if it was opened at 6am rather than 8am)."

"Check-in was good/quick. Especially given a severe thunderstorm was rolling in and we had to try to get my mobility-impaired dad inside somewhat quickly. Room was awesome and actually handicapped-accessible. Roll in shower was good; be aware water will run out onto the floor and the floor drain (middle of bathroom one) doesn't really drain well so you may want some extra towels or a squee-gee to get rid of all the water that comes out so you don't slip when you get out of the shower. Pool is great! Staff was great!"
