It was fun but didn’t care for the stiff blankets and towels. Also lack of wash cloths. The 2 thermostats should have been labeled. But overall we would stay again
It was a lovely stay in the house. The house was clean, quiet and safe. It has a great history and is lovingly furnished. Be sure to visit the museum that the house belongs to. Thank you for the lovely time.
Excellent historical residence. Decorations were relaxing, sept. is a great time of year to stay in Gillette. Walking distance to area shops and resturants
We absolutely loved staying in the Ross House. Our hosts were amazing and the house is absolutely beautiful. It was very well stocked with everything and anything we could have possible needed for our week long stay. Our kids want to stay here EVERY time we come to Gillette!
Older home in the downtown area has a great deal of charm. It has a lot of modern amenities. It is a delightful refreshing little Haven in the middle of Gillette. Brianna is an exceptional host and make sure you visit the frontier museum one block away.
Four of us stayed at the Ross House on a pronghorn hunting trip. The house was spatious, comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed hanging out on the front deck every night to share stories. Communicating with host was easy. I highly recommend!
Great place to rest your head after a long day at the rodeo. Also easy access to Devils Tower and Mount Rushmore.

Beautiful home
This home was truly beautiful and filled with interesting antiques. It is located on a steep hill, which cause a few issues since there was a good snowfall, making it difficult to get out of the driveway and up the street. The hosts were not very responsive and did not do any snow removal after it snowed. Overall, the home worked well for us as far as number of beds and comfort inside of the home.
While only two of us stayed at this spacious house, we were able to offer a gathering place for the extended family that came to Gillette for a wedding. We hosted brunch for 15 and enjoyed the many sitting areas inside and out. The beds could not have been more comfortable - really excellent. Big closets. The kitchen was well-stocked with pantry staples including sugar, spices and food wrap that I usually have to buy. The front stairs from the sidewalk do not have a handrail, and the indoor stairs could be difficult for someone with mobility challenges, but nothing out of the ordinary for a vintage house like this one, which offers a lot of charm. We went to the Frontier Auto Museum, and we enthusiastically recommend it. So much more than cars, it has rooms full of relics of earlier times such as a1960-70 beauty salon, a drugstore soda fountain, a fully equipped phone booth, and much more. We found it endlessly interesting.
This was by far one of the most interesting and memorable homes we’ve ever stayed in. It perfectly blends old-school charm with modern comfort. The house is spacious, spotless, and full of character—every room tells a story. Located right in downtown Gillette, it’s convenient yet peaceful. We loved it so much we’ve already decided to rent it again next year. A must-stay if you appreciate a mix of history and modern luxury!
Our large family from Michigan came for a Wyoming wedding. We were pleasantly surprised at how well equipped the house was for us to make all of the food we needed. It was clean and well taken care of. It was also great that it was walking distance to downtown shopping! We would highly recommend that if anyone needs a place to stay in the Gillette area they choose this place as Briana was a great host. Thanks again!
this house was the most interesting house that we stayed at. it has so much character while still having the modern touches. loved it so much we have decided to rent it next year. a must stay in my book.
This is more then just a rental for us, it's more like home away from home!
This home is charming, cozy, comfortable, full of beautiful furnishings!!
The beds were very comfortable, the sheets are amazing!!
The bathroom is very stylish and the towels are so awesome!
The kitchen is fully stocked and love the gas stove, high quality dish washer and Maytag washer and dryer..
This is the best home we've ever rented, everything has been done and put together with love ♥️
Unfortunately did not get to enjoy the beautiful front porch and the back yard because of the cold weather, that would've been my hangout 😊
Thank you Briana for being such a great host, I'm sad that we can't stay at this place next month, but looking forward to the new place ♥️♥️
This is a beautiful property on a hill. You can sit on the porch and enjoy the sunrise over the city. The owners are wonderful and easy to work with. We enjoyed our stay
The Ross House was amazing! We came to visit our daughter and our sons and their families stayed here with us. Everything was very nice and Briana was very helpful. We’ll be back!
Very nice, sugar and creamer for coffee and tea would be nice. Adding railing for the cement steps would be greatly appreciated. First time in a vrooms and I would certainly enjoy staying here again. Loved the backyard in the evenings as well. Thank you.
