I travel several times because of my work and this time had to be in Middlesbrough stay ther for more than 4. Days every time they clean the room and but wathever I asked for the staff are very nice and friendly the only thing I didn’t really like is the breakfast I think they need to but everything in the buffet will be better than the keep asking for more toast or coffee and will be more better if they buy more choices there like eggs you can but frays eggs scrambled eggs not only boiled one

Nice hotel, clean and the staff were really nice. Night staff opened the main door and welcomed you in throughout the night. The room was very small but was comfortable for the two nights we stayed. Breakfast is included and was good choice of cereal, fruit and full cooked breakfast. The only down sides were that a double room only offered one bath towel for 2 people to have showers and no toilet roll in the bathroom. We had to find someone to get toilet roll and another towel.

Good value for money.
This was a business trip. Wanted somewhere a short distance from the middle of town, which it was. The hotel was, therefore, well situated. Importantly, staff were police and professional. The hotel was clean and the room that I had been allocated was tidy. Good value for money. Would recommend. Also, had a decent breakfast.

Room was shabby and incredibly cold. Put the heater on and went out for a couple of hours, came back and still freezing due to a draft from the window. Complained and got moved to another room. Have it over 2 hours to warm up and still freezing cold. The toilet seats in both room were not attached to the toilets, most of the tiles cracked - just over all a tired and shabby building that needs a total revamp. And suitable sized heaters. The heaters were tiny.

I'm not one to write negative reviews. However i believe it's necessary to forewarn others. The hotel is dirty, the room we were allocated had a faulty electric box, doors hanging off the wardrobe. It was dusty, smelt of weed. The receptionist follows you to your room, that was after taking my ID and a £50 cash deposit, this wasnt advertised. It was uncomfortable and unsafe. No surprise then, that we didn't stay. I left the property within 5 minutes. Never to return again. The rude, argumentative staff member refused to refund us, despite this we left, booked elsewhere and are out of pocket. 100% the right decision to leave. And we remained polite, despite their argumentative demeanour. We were told we wouldn't get the breakfast we had paid for, thry said it wasn't included. I had the booking details showing breakfast. It's worth paying more for somewhere inhabitable.

This is my second stay at Baltimore hotel. Great central location, very clean and very friendly polite staff. A bit minimalistic but staff are happy to provide anything required on request. On a main road but feels quiet. Parking and breakfast were included , overall great value for money.

Could be better
Very happy with our stay. Our room was very clean and had plenty of space. Shower was great and the added extras were there. i forgot shower gel but the was already shower gel already provided. I noticed a strong smell of cigarettes upstairs which is a no no for me, Fire hazard! Another negative was breakfast, I've never experienced hard boiled eggs to go with a full English. There was no toast and the bacon wasn't normal back bacon.

I cannot recommend this place the bathroom was falling to bits the bath had mould you could smell the unclean smell, actually felt like asking for bleach to clean the place myself. Milk was off when at breakfast made my daughter feel sick. They said they under new management and will give a discount on next stay but once put off I won’t go back. Health and safety issues all over. Past the front desk is horrible.

We stayed for a business trip for 2 days, room wasn’t as big as we thought it would be but it did the job. The staff were very friendly, we had our toddler with us and they were very accommodating and friendly if we needed anything they would meet our needs straight away. Breakfast was fully halal and delicious, staff kept bringing us food out upon request as there wasn’t much out and they made it fresh. Overall a great experience and we will definitely book again

Overall it was okay, walk distance to the centre, friendly staff I am afraid to say the room very small and nowhere to hang your clothes no wardrobe or closet I was told to hang on the door. That says it all.

A very open and warm reception awaits you, staff attentive and smiling and wanting to help. Making sure we understood and could work the secure door system (no keys, just a electric code). Room was airy and big, with plenty of space to move even with 3 of us in the room. Breakfast was enjoyable buffet style and staff again attentive. Would i stay again - yes, absolutely. Now for the down sides, but not a complaint more observational to improve, as i said i would stay again, even with these issues. 1. In the room, certain wall sockets had cover plates that did not completely cover, so young curious fingers could poke into electrical sockets. 2. Bedside lights and switches did not work at all. Possible just needed bulbs changed, so not major. To be fair to the hotel, any issues we pointed out or requests we had ( short on towels, hair dryer or iron needed), where dealt with swiftly and politely, giving the impression nothing was to much hassle.
