"This hotel was outstanding in every aspect! We hated to leave. We had castle view. Free water and alcohol in fridge. Great coffee in the room. This hotel was in the heart of the town. We received private parking in the back."

"One of the best nights sleep in a hotel ever. The beds and pillows are so comfortable. Great shower. Great breakfast and the staff were without exception, exceptional! "

"We arrived late at night but check in went well and we were able to arrange for a later check out. I had a massage at the spa which was amazing! Our kids loved the pool, with the fountains. It was disappointing that they did not allow children in the hot tub, at 12 and 15 it seems odd to us that they were not allowed in. The breakfast offered a lot of choice and great quality. "

"This property is a perfect stop in Athlone. It is easy to walk into the city centre and the parking was very convenient. There is also a lovely breakfast available at the hotel."

"Lyrath was a gem! Beautiful inside and out, the staff was very accommodating. The grounds were beautiful and our room was more than spacious and comfortable. Would definitely return and plan some “downtime” just to enjoy the hotel’s amenities!"
