North Myrtle Beach Holidays from £1,093

The staff was very polite and there were always people cleaning the floors throughout the hotel. The negatives were that we were there for 1 week and they only came in the room 1 time, if we wanted new towels we had to go get them ourselves. On the one day that they did come in to clean we were out for the morning and when we got back our door was not shut tight so we just pushed it open, luckily nothing was taken. The lazy river looked dirty all the time and despite a sign saying "No Swimming" there were kids swimming in it constantly so we were not able to use it and relax. All the pools were always over crowded so if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay this is not for you. If you have kids you may enjoy this more, the kiddie water park looked like a lot of fun and was the cleanest of all their water areas. We also had a dog staying in a room near us that barked all night and we had to walk around dog poop on the rug outside our room one morning until the cleaning staff did their rounds and picked it up. It was however a very convenient place to stay for beach access and the hotel did provide chairs.

It was not a bad experience for the price I expected a little more of an updated room. The shower and hair in it, and that is a huge NO for me, lucky my husband cleaned it out. The linen for the pull out couch had hair on it as well, so we didn’t use the particular piece with the hair on it. The pictures I saw on hotel.com were misleading, we did not expect the rooms to be outside like a motel setup. Also we stayed on Tower B side and there was only 1 set of elevators and it was times where we waited 20+ minutes for an elevator to come that wasn’t completely full. We stayed 1 night so those issues were not that significant, but I definitely would probably stay somewhere else if we are staying longer.
