The shady front porch invites you into a roomy, bright and relaxing interior. The grand family room is a well-furnished open concept, with comfy leather furniture, large flat sceen tv, family dining for 8, custom kitchen, and 3 bedrooms completes the upstairs main floor. Watch the tide come in and out during the day from the upper deck off the family room. The washer/dryer, plus outdoor sink, are conveniently located in the utiility closet on the deck. The kitchen is bright and beautifully remodeled with quartz counter tops, cabinetry & appliances -- soft close drawers, full pantry storage & well-stocked kitchen essentials, including coffee maker for your morning routine. \*Security Cameras Disclosure\* 2 Exterior cameras are installed for guest safety and property security. One on the front left corner and 1 downstairs under the eave. Cameras stream live video only (no audio, no recording). A non-functional camera is present at the back of the home. There are no indoor cameras or monitoring in private areas. By confirming your reservation, you consent to being viewed in these exterior areas. \*Please Note - reservation requires minimum age of 25\. Groups must consists of half adults over the age of 25\. Adults must be present on property from arrival date to departure date, to supervise and accept responsibility for group. Upstairs: Main suite has a King bed with private bath, including updated walk-in shower. The two other bedrooms are both Queen beds, plus one bunk bed. The bathroom is shared tub/shower combo. All bedrooms have flat-screen ROKU tv's. Downstairs: A spacious bedroom offers 2 full beds & an interior bathroom w/ shower (no tub). Access is thru exterior door ONLY. PRIVATE POOL -- 4 1/2 feet deep 12 x 20 dimensions. Plenty of areas for sunbathing, or catch the breezes in the cool shade underneath the home. The outdoor space offers room for gathering to enjoy family activities at your own private resort. There's a grill, outdoor seating, hammock, privacy shades to block the sun, waterway dock and a sparkling blue pool oasis. The owner offers use of any of their personal beach and water toys - stored in the garage. There's an outdoor shower and garden hose to rinse off. SORRY - POOL CANNOT BE HEATED Parking for 4 vehicles MAX --based on mid-size autos. Recreational Trailer Friendly (No Parking in the grass due to sprinkler system). The Cherry Grove pier is located about 20 blocks away for those that like pier fishing -- licenses available in the pier tackle shop. The house is conveniently located within a couple of blocks of the beautiful beach. Our family has spent time at beach rentals over the years. Time Away is one of the best....location, amenities, close to restaurants, grocery store, and the beach. The decks and outside areas are perfect for watching sunrise and sunset. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is perfect for a family vacation. The yard is completely fenced for added security. The pool is a nice size, overlooking the canal. My boys enjoyed fishing from the dock. I liked watching the boats on the canal and seeing the fish jumping. The front porch is the best place for your morning cup of coffee. The downstairs bedroom is the perfect place for your teenagers or in-laws. The uncrowded beach is just a short walk away. Although there are plenty of shopping opportunities, I still prefer Beaulineau's neighborhood market. Motos is always a must for me. I love their outdoor oceanfront patio and the Carolina burger. The pool was beautiful. Most everything about the house was great. A little flooded in the basement previously left some damage and the electrical outlets had to be repaired during our stay. A dehumidifier in the bathroom helped. Not as commercialized area close to little river and calabash for food. Clean and nice upstairs rooms etc. pool not heated and with all the rain it was cold.Downstairs room smelled musty and had dampness. Walls were definitely dealing with humidity. Bottom patio and driveway were flooded the hole time we were there making them unusable. Slipped and fell when I went down not knowing it was 2 inches of water. Place would have been rated higher if the patio wasn’t a pool. ##### mark s. You should let your guest know something of this magnitude. We have 35k dollar motorcycles that could have been damaged.
