Perfect place for us!!

Fits perfect for our families needs. This is our 2nd stay here and plan on returning here again. Short walk to the beach. Love having a pool and laundry area. Communication with retreat mrytle beach is the best!

We have no problem cleaning just thought maybe it should have the supplies so your guest don’t have to go buy the stuff to clean.

Our first stay since we lost our Boxer, Tilly died 7 years ago. Our beagle, german, mutt will be 3 years old in December. We plan many trips to come. Highly recommended for dog owners.

However this year we had problems with ants, constantly spraying and throwing food out. Also, the pool was very disappointing, do very filmy water an lots of sand in pool. Not enjoyable just gross. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Initially not very happy. First morning killed 2 roach like bugs, figured that might get worse but those were the only 2 for the week. Kitchen could use some utensils such as a blender and small spoons. Also need some better cleaning supplies since renter needs to clean when leaving. The back door has a large gap in it probably allowing the bugs in. The door jamb looks like it was busted. Make sure to take keys when you leave or you'll get locked out, happened to us. They returned call quickly and gave me a combo for a lockbox on the porch. Unit is located in close proximity to beach, restaurants and grocery. Very convenient. Had a great stay and enjoyed the property and pool after we settled in. Dog loved it too.

Perfect location.. go away tropical storm Debby!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I feel as if my review may not be 100% fair due to the circumstances under no one’s control. We were there the week of tropical storm Debby. We loved the family Robinson 2 house. It was perfect for my family of 3 and our dog. It was a 1 minute walk to the beach and having the pool next door was perfect. We did need to buy ant traps for the kitchen because like in another review we did have tiny ants. Those cleared up within a day. Due to the storm, maintenance and the owner removed the downstairs units furniture and that meant the washer and dryers as well. When they were returned on Friday I did wash laundry, but sadly the dryers did not work... something was wrong with the electrical in the other house. Again out of their control. We had such a fun time even with the tropicalStorm that almost made us cut our vacation early. We decided to ride it out and we are glad we did. The unit was perfect and had everything we needed. I do wish there was an outlet in the bathroom to do my hair, but we made do. I would also suggest a full size mirror to see yourself as well. The fan in one of the guest rooms only had 2 settings, on full speed or off. Maybe I noticed these things more than I normally would since we had to pretty much stay indoors for 2 days.But overall I would 100% stay here again. I do have to give a huge shout out to the maintenance guys, they were so helpful and very kind to us during this ordeal. They made us feel comfortable with all our questions about staying or going and even helped us to find a place to put our car to higher grounds.Hopefully next time it won’t be in a storm. Overall it was a perfect place to stay and experience a tropical storm. Great place if you have a larger dog. It is very open and had plenty of space for all of us. The 2 decks were nice as well. You can not beat the location to the beach! I look forward to booking again, this time I’ll book for at least 10 days so if it does rain( tropical storm) we wil

Myrtle Beach Family Vacation

We enjoyed the house but only problem we had the Wi-Fi did not work an we could not watch tv.

Enjoyed the house, we will come again for a rental. But no Wi-Fi or tv was the only problem we had. Pool an basketball court was nice. Overall we had a great experience..

Cherry Grove house near beach

We enjoyed our stay at the house, it was an older home that has been updated. The place was clean and smelled very good. The only thing I could say for improvement is updating to add some electrical outlets. There were none in the bathroom or near the mirrors in the bedroom for hairdrying.

Short Visit due to Hurricane Florence

The staff at Retreat Myrtle Beach was very helpful and kept us apprised of the rapidly changing weather forecast and ultimate mandatory evacuation.

It wasn't bad, but could use updating. Plugs wouldn't stay in outlets to good. Back door was crooked and a gap in it. Had a few ants on counter in kitchen. But for price....ok
