Castaway Cay is a luxury vacation rental blocks away from the majestic Atlantic Ocean. It has four bedrooms and three baths, and a private outdoor swimming pool. Castaway Cay is in the Windy Hill area of North Myrtle Beach, a quiet and family-friendly area yet close to several restaurants, shops, and attractions.Castaway Cay boasts a full kitchen, so whipping up culinary delights for the whole family will be a breeze. There is also a breakfast bar which provides not only extra counter space but seating as well. There are several flatscreen TVs and complimentary WIFI throughout the house. You can check work emails or keep up with social media no matter where you are in the place. Pack light as there is a separate laundry room with a washer and dryer. The indoors will stay comfortable with central heating and air conditioning. The outdoors at Castaway Cay is also luxurious. Enjoy having access to a private sparkling swimming pool. The property was nice however, all the previous VRBO's we have rented had amenities like toliet paper, trash bags, they had the beds made. It was disappointing to not have something like toliet paper and trash bags to throw things away properly on the property.

Awesome vacation

We had been to Myrtle beach before, but usually stayed at a condo or resort. Now that we have a dog, we needed something else and this was perfect! My husband and I went with my parents and our mini double doodle, Cooper. The rental agency was great with communicating and answering questions from the beginning and throughout our stay. The house is absolutely beautiful and bathrooms are very convenient to all bedrooms. Pool was spectacular…although we weren’t aware it was a saltwater pool. That was fine for us, but Cooper kept trying to drink the water! Very quiet and safe neighborhood, evening swims are wonderful with the night lights. We had a cooler week in October, so we paid extra to have the pool heated, and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!!

Very quiet and relaxing!

We stayed in a similar home last year and this one was identical and did not disappoint. We love the convenience of having the pool for the kids and a place for us to read and we don't have to worry about the kids with a fenced yard. It is in a very quiet neighborhood and close to attractions, mini golf, restaurants and shopping. Close enough to the beach to walk there. We love renting a golf cart. The house was clean (it is new construction) and we felt very comfortable there. As is typical for these rental homes, there aren't a lot of items provided/supplied and I love when reviews include that info too. It's nice to know from a previous renter what is there. So here is what you can expect... Plenty of cookware, utensils, dishes, cups, storage containers, toaster, and a coffee maker (not a K-cup). Linens for the beds and bath towels and washcloths. No hand towels for drying hands though. There were travel size shampoos and bar soaps in the bathrooms and nothing else is provided. We did get a complimentary tote with some additional soap, a roll of TP, and med size clear trash bags (2). Just pretend you will be staying at a hotel and the items a hotel provides is basically here (although there were no facial tissues). You will need to bring or buy everything else. We drove and had the benefit of packing TP, paper towels, tissues, detergent /dryer balls, trash bags, dish soap, sponges, seasonings and food. If you fly, this stay will require a shopping trip.
