"We were one of the first people to stay at this property and my god it was fantastic. My best friend and I stayed here for a night to hike and explore the area. The property smelled fantastic, looked great, and was super comfortable. I love all the small touches in the decor, as well as the awesome vegetable garden. It’s super close to Blue Ridge, but also almost right on the water. 10/10 would absolutely stay here again."

"My family came down to Lake Lanier with our bass boat for a week of fishing. We had a fun time catching spotted bass all week. We plugged extension cords (150’ reaches, but 200’ would give you some slack) into the gazebo to charge the trolling motor batteries every night. The driveway is narrow and steep, but we got our trailer down there to park it by the house for the week. Other than fishing, there was so much neat stuff around. The Georgia Aquarium was worth battling the traffic to Atlanta....

"First off I’d like to say, with this being a renovated old-school house it is truly immaculate; it has everything you need and more. If you don’t stay here and feel like you’re in a classroom with a huge library of reading material all around you then this place is not for you. There is reading material for all ages. "Very pleased with my four night stay here. Up-to-date kitchen with all the amenities, nice bedrooms, a gas fireplace which kept the place quite warm, more than adequate bathroom, nice property and a firepit outside. Excellent location, near what you need but also very quiet. Host provided excellent touches above and beyond. The next time I visit Gainesville, this will be the first place I check."
