"Unit was basically clean; maybe wouldn't have passed a white glove test in some areas but it is after all in a grove of trees. The description of "15 yds from lake" is probably correct BUT lake was nowhere to be seen from the unit, disappointing. Many lovely lakes are not far, however, and my son took me to them. I was gone during the day so can't comment on that, but evenings/nights the property itself was quiet. Traffic on the road running directly past the property was pretty constant through...

While it is small, it is very nice and cozy and is the perfect stay for anyone wanting to stay in Helen, GA. Will definitely be returning in the future if the good Lord permits."

"We just took a few days off. We took the train trip so we knew we weren’t going to be hanging out in the room very much. If we were staying longer, we would have gotten the upstairs suite with full kitchen. Everything looked great. The only downside was the bed is super soft. But that’s just our preference. It was lovely."

"We had an unexpected hiccup with the check-in process, but the property owners responded in a very timely manner. We enjoyed the nearby winery, Kaya, and had a very restful evening after a long day of hiking. The property is immaculate with beautiful landscaping. You can tell they take tremendous pride in everything they do!"
