"A very old house renovated to be a guest house. On the corner next to White Horse Pub and just down the hill from Dover Castle. Location is great. Narrow stairs to each room. Well-cared for property. We were treated very well. "
"Does the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays."
"A quiet and clean hotel where guests are made very welcome. Locstion is nice and close to the city center.
I understand that the hotel is taken over by another owner not too long ago, so there is some work to do to make it even nicer.
I hope to return here in the future."
"I would stay at this property again. It was very comfortable and clean. We were able to walk to a very nice restaurant and a beautiful park. The staff were very friendly and check in was easy. "

"We were warmly welcomed by our host and were shown all of the kitchen amenities, common areas, and then our room. Our room was beautiful and elegant, and we had our own ensuite bathroom. It is conveniently located close to the Port of Dover (if you're taking the ferry).
My only recommendation would be to add a foam topper to the bed for extra comfort... the bed was VERY hard and we both woke up stiff the next morning. Other than the bed, it was a beautiful stay."
"Very comfortable, quick check-in. Reasonable food choice. Gym but no pool. 10 mins from Dover Ferry check-in however the road got logged surprisingly quickly! Leave over an hour travel."
"Really great stay.Host was lovely very helpful.
Room was very nice spotless.
Really comfy bed.
Great Breakfast and a lovely big teapot which for a tea drinker like me was great."
"The host was kind and eager to please us. The room was perfectly prepared for us and suited all of our needs for an overnight stay. The house is located in a perfect spot to enjoy and explore Dover."
"We booked the same day for 4 of us. Fantastic hostess, Farrah. My cousin and our Mothers, my cousin is pregnant so Farrah gave me a seperate room next door so we had 2 bathrooms at no extra cost. Great location, very warm and friendly atmosphere. All the places recommended to us in the area were great and we had a fantastic stay!
Would highly recommend."
"While the location is great, it felt that they didn't try. The place has holes on the roof, knobs that are falling off, and hung frames that don't have pictures in them. The cleaning process hadn't been completed when we arrived. "
