The kids absolutely loved playing ping pong and using the downstairs TV room. The outdoor fire pit was a big hit. Sleeping was easy with the comfortable beds. Furthermore you will not find better views of the high peaks. We can’t wait to be back! I cannot tell you how stress-relieving staying this lodge is for me. A cup of coffee on the balcony, a sit by the fire in the fire pit or a hike along even the road that the lodge is on is just fantastic. And there are a gazillion things to do in the area if you inclined to seek some activities. Hiking, fishing, canoeing, the garnet mine, the gondola at the Gore Mountain ski resort, peddle a cart on an 8 mile section of track, evening programs on occasion in North Creek, drive over to the baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown (2 hours one way), visit Fort Ticonderoga, and many other activities. ##### Rob A.
