"Overall, the resort is nice, fun and safe. Staff super nice and helpful. The room was a little outdated. The TV fell off the wall during our stay and had to call maintenance. Scheduled a private birthday dinner that included a private chef. The chef was scheduled to meet us up at our room at 6:25 to escort us. Waited 20 minutes with a no show. Went down to the service desk to make sure it was canceled ($150) and they were giving us the run around until I told them we were not in the mood anymore and frustrated. Shows in theater were pretty good but super loud. Beach area is more of lagoon with some turquoise water. Restaurants were only opened during the weekend during our stay and not during the week. Same buffet food each day of the week. I would give this resort a 7 out of 10."

"Our stay at the Riu Palace Aquarelle was enjoyable overall, but there were a few areas that could be improved. The rooms were clean, the food was decent, and the staff was generally friendly and accommodating. One recurring issue was room service. We attempted to order room service on three separate occasions, and unfortunately, it never arrived. Housekeeping also consistently forgot to replenish washcloths, requiring us to call for replacements each time our room was serviced. The entertainment offerings felt somewhat limited, and communication about resort activities could be much better. Events such as bingo, daily shows, and other scheduled activities were not well advertised, so we often didn’t know they were happening until after the fact. Additionally, the area surrounding the resort may be surprising to some travelers, as the approach to the property is not particularly appealing. However, once inside the resort, the grounds felt safe, well-maintained, and relaxing. Overall, we had a good stay, but addressing these service and communication issues would greatly enhance the guest experience."

"Staff is perfect. The food was good just the same thing every meal. Sometimes cold. I wanted to add a guest and was charged a lot more than I thought. The Montego bay resort guest are not allowed on the palace beach. Reminded me of Jim Crow it wasn't a good feeling when I was told I to leave the beach. Other than than everything else was good. Staff is excellent. Night life was good. Just wanted more reggae music vibes. But I enjoyed the music that was. I give this place a thumbs up."

"My stay was okay, but there were several areas that could be improved. The room was not as clean as I expected, and there were old drink bottles left in the refrigerator when we arrived. The staff was not very welcoming, and customer service could have been better. I was also looking forward to a nice beach view *paying extra for balcony due to hving a good view* , but the view from my room was limited and not what I expected. The location was convenient, but overall, the cleanliness, service, and room experience did not meet my expectations. We’ll most definitely be booking a different resort next time."
