"The apartment was nice and clean.Beds were comfortable! Bring extra toilet paper and paper towels. There was laundry soap and bleach to keep up with washing the white towels! The patio could have used a good sweeping and cushions cleaned off. We didn’t sit out there. The pool was small but nice! The neighborhood was quiet. "We booked this place because of the price and convenience to the Charleston area. As soon as we turned in the driveway there were people walking all around the house and sitting outside in groups playing cards and watching us unload. Sketchy feel. We couldn’t get the door to work (our fault) and I called the property owner. She was VERY NICE and understanding of our mistake. The inside of the house is very clean and comfortable. "

"My husband and I definitely enjoyed our stay. To be honest when were pulling into the neighborhood we were wondering what we got ourselves into. Once getting settled and checked in we were very pleased, all of the appliances are up to date and the neighborhood is pretty quiet. Also it's not far from downtown, Tanger Outlet or anywhere else we went.I loved that our host was reachable and didn't make us feel like we were a bother for reaching out. "Stay Duvet was super responsive to anything that came up which were super minor things with the internet. They checked in on us day of check in, day of check out to see if we needed anything. Space was clean and comfortable. Only drawback was no TVs in the bedrooms as I’m someone that prefers to sleep with the TV on but the listing didn’t say there were TVs in bedrooms so that’s on me. Would definitely stay there again. "

Inside it has been turned into a rental, but the area surrounding the home is, according to the police I spoke with, prone to robberies and frequent crime. "The house was great. The only reason I gave it four stars in the “online listing” listing is because of the kitchen. It does state that it’s a kitchenette but including explicit verbiage in the actual listing that it does NOT include a stove or oven and it only has a tiny microwave would have been helpful. We probably still would have stayed there but it would have been nice to know in advance. The location is not the best part of town but we didn’t feel unsafe. "
