Parking in front but very crowdy as this hotel is next to the old town, so location is just excellent! Tiny brekkie selection but scandinavian and plenty of room available. Historic building with a lovely, modern interior and nice spacious bar and restaurant. Breakfast was good. The room we had overlooked the river and was clean and comfortable. The one negative was that the room was rather stuffy. Helpful and friendly staff. No shampoo, what was labeled as shampoo was hand soap at best. No conditioner. Pillows were lumpy. The bathroom shower was missing a door so water got all over the floor. The floors were covered in hard water stains. Not cozy, not for leisure travel and I would prefer to stay at another hotel for work as well. The staff presence was minimal. When we arrived someone was at reception. The interaction was pleasant. We also also called 4 weeks earlier to book the hotel restaurant for an anniversary via the reception requesting a table by the window -> it was not registered. The staff at the restaurant were rude and made no effort to apologize for the mistake. They could have said sorry, but instead we felt like we were inconveniencing them by asking for what we had booked. No time to eat breakfast as it opens at 8 in the summer. Parkering precis utanför hotellet vilket var bekvämt. Fick ett bra rum med utsikt över vattnet. Bra sängar. Frukosten var helt OK men inte mera.
