This simple home is steps to toes in the sand and comes with great beach chairs. A 2 bedroom/1 bath set appointed for short or long term stays. The apartment has 2 queen beds, feather pillows, sevenfold towels, all weather down duvets, central heat and air, a futon with linens, a private patio and a fabulous shared deck. Walk out your door turn right and walk onto the beach. Enjoy epic Chesapeake bay sunsets and the luxury of a quiet safe beach. The Space: Beach Construction Notice: The City of Norfolk will begin a sand replacement project on Toler Place and Willoughby Beach (from 11th View St to the terminal groin) in response to significant erosion from recent high tides. Work will take place Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, beginning in late May 2025 and continuing through late July 2025\. You will have to use the beach from 11th Bay and down to enjoy the beach. Please be aware that the impacted section of the beach will be closed during work hours but will reopen in the evenings and on weekends. Alternate access to the beach is available via 11th View St and other nearby entry points. Special things to note: Pets allowed. $75 per pet per week. Pet fee is requested after booking. Just a few steps to the beach. Beautiful sunsets seen from there! And, it’s very close to Norfolk beaches and the Naval base. There is not a whole lot of sitting/lounging spots in the property. Only one couch and one accent chair. Probably would be a bit tight for two couples as far as sitting goes. The thermostat wasn’t working, and wouldn’t shut off, so we woke up to 85 degrees one day—not great for sleeping well, but property management was right on it when we told them about the problem. The decor is really cute. It has a beachy vibe. Beds and linens were very comfortable. We had a lovely time in Norkolk and surrounding area, and the property was a nice place to rest and relax between adventures! ##### Brian R. We called several times and were about to rent a hotel but then Sojourns responded with a new code ... apparently the internet went down and the code failed. We got a new code and entered the apt. the sojourns management company was kind and apologized. The apartment was clean and had little snacks waiting for us and nice water bottles in metal can - very nice touch. The front of the building isn't the best and people hang outside and smoke but the back is wonderful and I felt safe. They also provided nice dishes, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and toilet paper. It's the little things that show care. They checked on us later in the visit and after we left. I appreciate the good service. the beach is easy to access but if you have dogs beware because there are tons of sticker thorns growing on the path. The beach is lovely!
