"When we arrived the code wouldn’t unlock the door. We called and got a call back. The door knob had been locked so unlocking the code wasn’t enough to unlock the door. Using a coin we unlocked the knob. Which was a little unsettling. The keypad never worked the entire weekend. We had to use the door from the sprinkler room to come and go. We had also received a message about discounts on Grubhub through Sojourn using a code but there was no code given. Sojourn denied any sort of credit but...

I wish there was a little bit more to do around that was open later kinda of like Oceanfront on Virginia Beach, but I liked the area a lot and found good places to eat thanks to the recs of the host of this apartment. "Very comfortable - beds were soft, sheets were great and water pressure was nice. There was a problem with city drains so the parking lot was flooded a couple nights, which caused a lot of dirt to be tracked into the unit, but this wasn't a problem with the rental. Location was close to everything we needed."

"We arrived to a dirty condo. The floors had not been swept and there was a live roach in the bathtub. We sent photos and swept the kitchen ourselves. They stated that it was unacceptable and would have a cleaning crew out the next day. We left mid morning and came back 6 hours later and it still had not been cleaned. While we were showering for dinner someone came and stated they were there to clean. I stated they were to have done that while we were gone and could they come back as my husband...

"Me and my family enjoyed our beach stay. There was a beach in walking distance to the house, a playground and also a store. We drove to Virginia Beach for one day which was about a 30 minute drive. We enjoyed the beach in the back of the house more. The host responds quick when asked questions. I would recommend and will be staying next summer again with my family. "

"It was very clean on the inside. Laundry rooms were disgusting. Outside area very miss leading. Listed a grill did not have one. Also there was no kitchen towels and over mitts. The rooms was Blocked to construction and it smelled horrible."

"The property was nice and clean, but hard to keep clean with all the road construction and sand. We did our best, but a swiffer would have been nice. The apartment is across the street from a park, where we could walk dogs very easily. It also had a Farmer's Market on Saturday which was very handy for fresh vegetables. It was a really great location for two dogs.....and many of the guests had pets."

"Property was great, newly renovated. Comfortable beds & pillows. Towels, beach chairs and some self care products (shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc) were available for use. Not far from the beach. Which was a plus. We enjoyed our stay. Traveled with my husband, and 4 year old. "
