The room was spacious with all usual amenities. The bathroom was good size and pleasant. Over all the location of the hotel is good, close ( walking distances) to Chrysler museum, restaurants and center of city .

Not sure why the hotel got low reviews , i had a great experience ,Debra was super helpful checked me in 2 hours before check in time, room was large nice cleaned daily, location walking distance for downtown, yes some bathroom need slight update due to age of the hotel, no breakfast included . bottom line if you good with 3 star hotel, fair rate ,than its great choice.

The staff were very professional and helpful. The room was clean. The main challenge I had was finding meals. There is no lunch services or room service. If you have physical limitation there is no place within walking distance to eat.

I loved everything about this place! Great friendly people! Room was clean and in great condition! Love the different array of chair placements staged in different areas. I would say chairs were their niche’ in being different from other hotels. Love it!

The Room was so clean and welcoming . The bed , especially the pillows were so soft and comfy. My Mom and I enjoyed our stay so much . The staff was so helpful with anything we needed .

DAWN/sames manager!!! We love her! Such an amazing person and she was on top of everything!! I dont think she slept or stopped moving all weekend we were here. You ever need anything or have questions shes the person to ask. Stayed for business: Tidewater horror convention. Nice hotel. Bed was comfy, room was clean, staff was amazing! Food was good and not badly priced. And best part is, you couldn't hear ur neighbors in another room!! Lol

I booked a room for my mom when she came to visit. i came in with her to just kind of see how her room was, see the hotel, and the staff and I can say the high reviews are legitimate. The room was very clean, the view of the city was beautiful. There was a slight issue with the bathroom door, but they fixed it right away. Every time I came over for a bit to pick her up, the staff was friendly, and helpful. Mom reports a wonderful stay. I'll definitely book it again for her or if I have friends flying in, I will be suggesting this hotel.

Surprisingly this hotel was GREAT. Room was very spacious. The hotel is being renovated which is a plus. The pool is big going from 3 ft to 9 ft. The only thing I did not like was the smell in the hallway but that’s from renovation. We will definitely stay here every time.
