The North Sea with boarding stairs is just a breeze away and "is in the air". The friendly Nordstrand offers peace and nature at its best and is also an ideal starting point for day trips: “on foot” to Sylt, Pellworm, Föhr, Amrum or Helgoland (each seasonal ferry connection from Nordstrand); Watt hikes, bathing beach, bike tours in the area or at any time via the road connection by car or public bus to the mainland ...
