Welcome to a very special holiday home! This over 400-year-old, historic farmhouse, which is a listed building, is one of the oldest structures in the County of Bentheim. With great attention to detail, it underwent extensive renovation over a period of two years to preserve its historic charm while offering modern comforts. Here, you won’t just be staying—you’ll be immersing yourself in a piece of living history.

Inside, you’ll find a stylish blend of tradition and contemporary amenities. Two spacious bedrooms on the ground floor, each with a TV and a comfortable double bed (1.80 x 2.20 m), offer direct access to private bathrooms—ideal for privacy and comfort. The third bedroom is located in the loft on the upper floor, also featuring a cosy double bed and a comfortable sleeper sofa. All rooms are lockable, so every guest can retreat to their own space after an eventful day.

we warmly welcome you to our holiday rental and wish you an eventful and relaxing stay!

With our accommodation, we aim to provide you with the foundation for carefree and relaxing days. To ensure this is always possible, it is necessary that our guests are familiar with and adhere to the house rules. By making your reservation, you accept these house rules and agree to ensure that you and all your travelling companions comply with them. We thank you in advance for your cooperation!

QUIET HOURS

In our holiday rental, public quiet hours—such as midday and Sunday quiet hours—must be observed. Out of consideration for others and to maintain good neighborly relations, quiet hours must also be observed daily between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.


SMOKING

Smoking is not permitted in our holiday rental or anywhere in the building. Please go outside and use an ashtray there. Please dispose of completely cooled-down cigarette butts in the general waste. If any burn marks or holes occur, please report this to us, the landlord, immediately. As the tenant, you are responsible for the repair costs of any resulting damage.


INTERNET

Free internet access is available in our holiday rental. You will receive the access code upon arrival. Use of this internet access is at your own risk. We, as the property owner, assume no liability whatsoever for any of your activities on the internet.





PETS

Pets are allowed in our holiday rental upon prior agreement and registration. Please ensure that your pet stays away from furniture, such as sofas or beds, while in the holiday rental. In addition, it is your responsibility to clean up any mess caused by your pet. Please also note that pets must be kept on a leash in certain areas of the house and the surrounding area.


VISITORS


For safety reasons,. If visitors are also staying overnight in the holiday rental, you must notify the landlord in advance. You can register visitors by phone or email. A fee of
20 euros will then be charged per visitor per night. Visitors must also comply with these house rules.


EVENTS AND PARTIES

Large events and parties are strictly prohibited. Any gathering of several people in our holiday rental must comply with the relevant provisions of these house rules.


WASTE SEPARATION AND DISPOSAL

Since we are required to separate waste, we ask that you also sort your trash in our holiday rental. Appropriate disposal options are available for organic waste, paper, plastic, general waste, and glass. New trash bags are also provided in the holiday rental, which you should use as needed. In addition, never flush food scraps, trash, or hygiene products down the toilet or other drains. Dispose of your trash exclusively in the designated bins.


SECURITY

For security reasons, all entrance doors to the holiday rental must be kept locked at all times. In addition, all entrance doors must be locked with the key when leaving the house. Windows should also be closed when leaving the holiday rental and at night. For fire safety, please ensure that escape routes are not blocked. Heating, lights, and other appliances should always be turned off when not in use. This also applies to electrical appliances.

Ventilation
To prevent the spread of infection, it is necessary to ventilate the holiday rental adequately. To do this, open the windows several times a day for 5 to 10 minutes. This effectively prevents mould growth.

Outdoor Area
Outdoor items, such as umbrellas or similar items, must be closed during strong winds and overnight to prevent damage and ensure your safety.

Barbecues/Fireplaces
Equipment involving open flames may only be used by adults. For fire safety reasons, please also refrain from barbecuing with charcoal or flammable accelerants. Once cooled, dispose of the ashes and other debris in the general waste.
