This place was lovely. Everything was so clean, quiet and welcoming. The view of the pool area off the balcony was so beautiful and well taken care of. Housekeeping was always a pleasure Will be staying again :)

Not to much. Noisy dogs, chickens and roosters. not much in kitchen utensils or cooking pans. Was constently killing insects. had to sleep in a hooded sweatshirt, after applying insect repellant over your arms and head areas. Maid service would show up after 4pm??

Dear Andrew,We are sorry to hear you had an unpleasant stay with us.We would have highly appreciated it if you had come to the reception to discuss these matters so we could solve these issues immediately for you.Of course we want to clear up the points you mentioned:- The kitchen has all the (basic) equipment a kitchen requires. However, it could be possible that something was missing during your stay, or that you needed something extra. If you had told us this, we would have fixed it immediately for you.- In general it is a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. If you had told us there were dogs, chickens and roosters making noise on the streets near your apartment, we would have moved you to an apartment on the other side of the premises.- Unfortunately mosquitos/insects are active on the island of Aruba and the (sub)-tropics. Some people are more vulnerable to this than others. However we fully understand this can be experienced as disturbing. This is why we battle mosquitos and insects on a daily basis.- Our Housekeeping service has several apartments to clean on a daily basis. The time they come by varies due to the busyness. Of course we strive to do every apartment as early as possible. We would have appreciated it if you had told us this during your stay so that it would have been just that one time.If you plan to visit Aruba again, we ask that you consider returning to us so that we can provide you with a stay that meets your and our standards.Best regards,Del Rey Apartments

Generally an excellent stay but one issue needs to be raised. I always keep some medication in pill form on my bedside table for a specific medical condition in case it flares up during the night. My room was cleaned twice when I was out and on both occasions, the cleaners must have thrown out the pill. I could find not trace of the pills when I returned. Leaving aside the expense, this is really bad. Cleaners should never mess with people's medications. If the guest runs out of the medication, it could be really dangerous. Please advise your cleaners! thanks

Very nice place to stay and to relax. The rooms are complete and the pool and outdoor area is very pleasing. Take some anti muscito spray with you and you are good to go and enjoy

Great little place
We loved this little place. Quiet and relaxing, which is exactly what we were hoping for. Walking distance to beautiful beaches and great restaurants. Staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Would recommend Del Rey to anyone.

Although the property is showing it’s age it is still kept very well and is an excellent walking distance to Palm beach and the major hotels.

Location was fine, we had a rental car to get us around the island. Hotel was clean and in a residential area. The only complaint was that the beds were not comfortable to sleep on.

Great place if you have a rental car
No frills, had a nice kitchen, free parking so I was able to make breakfast and drive to everywhere I needed. Overall very happy with the place, it was clean and had all basic things that you would need

It has a strong smell. Not what we expected. It was dirty. They change the towels every two days which is gross. Poor customer service

Sorry you feel this way. We have daily cleaning service, just leave the towels you want changed on the floor. If you are referring to beach towels that we hand out as extra service, we do change them every 2nd day. I also take exception to your remark that the apartment was dirty, we are well known for excellent clean service

My guest and I were accused of taking/misplacing a wash colth even after taking one my guests personal wash colth. Aside from that at checkout they all of sudden tell me that they are charging me $25 for a white towel that had mascara on it right before I had to leave for my flight. Super inconvenient, they should have handled that situation immediately. On the other hand, the service was disgusting. My guests and I on several occasions had to go personally ask for cleaning services and fresh towels. I would never recommend that anyone stays there because of how bad the customer service is there. They do not care about their customers well-beings.

Sorry you did not like us, however, to set the record straight, we do have daily maid service, no need to ask for it, if you leave towels on the floor we change them, if you hang them up we do not. I feel you are angry that we charged for the unusable towel. Sorry for the confusion with the wash cloth

Excellent experience, clean,, beautiful pool. I will be back for sure. Only one detail, when the reception closes, it would be good if you could feel that there is security on the property, although Aruba is very safe and we did not have any issues whatsoever, it is always good to feel that someone is there in case of emergency, such as a medical emergency as an example, but other than that this place is perfect........

Lovely stay; close to everyhing!
Helpful employees provided every need. Pool was fabulous. Rooms were clean; furniture comfortable. Lots of cabinet space. Never found bathing suit bottom when left outside and fell off office step, which had bad strip and was slippery when wet, but all worked out. Had to slam bathroom door to keep it closed. That was a bit of a bother during night, with 2 old couples sharing a bath.

Nice place to stay
I really enjoyed my stay here, very nice pool and rooms. The only things that are a slight knock on this place are the wifi signal was kind of weak and not having an oven in the room. Otherwise, everything else was perfect.
