The Ikura-do Cave is located in the 240-meter tall vertical, limestone cliff side. 

It was a foggy day, which is why we went to the caves rather than do some other sightseeing we had planned, but the caves were really cool and we weren't sad about the weather, at all!

"The property is huge. The room is very spacious and clean, thought the furniture is a little antique, the staff were courteous and efficient, though they speak only Japanese but they try to converse with you in English. There is a big outdoor carpark. The breakfast was excellent , large variety, well presented, healthy options available, remember to return your used cutlery and tray to the nearest rack after your meal. There is not much to do in the hotel except for onsen and table tennis. The forest surrounding the hotel provides a breathtaking view. Have to venture out, there is plenty to explore."
