Property was as advertised and described. No surprises.
Location and view were great. Love the terrace and full length windows across the front. Heated towel rack was very nice. The walk to town was just great, kept us in shape to climb the hill.
The only items we would have liked to be "different": the bed in the main bedroom was a little awkward and difficult to get out of (we are in our 70's). The oven and the clothes dryer were cryptic at best, needed voodoo to operate.
This is a nice spacious apartment in gorgeous Vence.
It’s in a quiet, residential area with friendly neighbours.
There are stairs up to the second floor but no lift and the town centre is a 10 minute walk up some steep hills.
The apartment is well equipped, however I recommend bringing an extra towel, and there are only 2 square pillows per bed. Ok for a single occupant of the bed but one each isn’t enough in my opinion. Overall our stay was lovely. The garage space is big enough for a Fiat 500, it just need’s careful manoeuvring. I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 262 Chemin de la Fontette in Vence. We spent 5 nights and found it a very convenient location for visiting nearby towns and places along the Mediterranean.
The apartment is lovely, with beautiful views from the living room, porch and bedroom. It is very spacious and well arranged.
I highly suggest reading the information binder Maryline left in the foyer with information about the town, shopping, etc. We did make the hike to the town center a few times. Walking up the steep hill is better than dealing with parking.
Thankfully, my husband is very good at maneuvering cars around and was able to pull our mid-size car into the garage with minimal effort. Being able to park the car without worrying about it being hit or stolen on the street was a blessing. I wish we had known how the garage door worked before we tried to open it. We have never seen a garage door that opens sideways, not up and down. All in all, I would definitely recommend this apartment if you are looking for a place to stay in and around Vence.
Place looks just like the pictures. It is located in a very quiet area with steep narrow roads all (most) leading down. If you have a larger car it may not fit in the garage but there is place to park. Super great place!

Lovely Vence with a view
Excellent rental. The apartment was perfect for our needs. It was clean, spacious, well-equipped and very comfortable. The views from the terrace were fantastic! We enjoyed our dinners outside and enjoyed the sun coming up in the mornings with a cup of coffee.
It is a great location to explore the Cote d'Azur.
Parking is tight. We had a tiny rental car and still had to turn in the rearview mirrors to fit in the garage. There are 2 visitor spots but they were full most of the time.
I would happily stay here again!

Beautiful well appointed apartment great location
This is a beautiful large two bedroom apartment. The combined living room and dining room have a wall of floor to ceiling glass doors so you always have a view and feel like you are outside even if you are inside. The terrace is large comfortable and wrap around. It is a short uphill walk to town but it after the first couple of days not a big deal. Nice kitchen good shower with comfortable bedrooms. Also, Christine who is the local contact is very accommodating and helpful. The one downside would be the garage, don't get anything larger than a compact car as it will be a challenge.

Central for a visit to the area.
Last September, my wife asked to go to the Violet Festival that is held the first weekend of March in Tourrettes-sur-Loup. That got me to looking for VRBO’s that would meet our vacation needs. I found this one – and stopped looking. Nice apartment, parking (alto a small car only space), two bedrooms with king size beds and kitchen with all the necessary equipment. We stayed in the apartment for two weeks – and the apartment was great. While it isn’t really in walking distance of any markets, it was close enough to everything to be central. We spend a lot of time enjoying Vence – lunches, dinners shopping, just walking around and enjoying the Village. All in all, the apartment was everything we needed for our visit.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. L’équipement ainsi que les informations fournis étaient parfaits. Ayant loué une auto, nous avons pu facilement nous déplacer d’un endroit à un autre puisque Vence est très bien situé en plus d’être un village très sympathique. Par contre, la température étant très chaude, on aurait apprécié avoir un plein contrôle sur la climatisation.
Die Wohnung entspricht den Angaben auf Fewo. Sie ist, bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten, gut ausgestattet. Bei Problemen reagiert die Vermieterin sehr schnell und kompetent.
2 Mankos gab bzw. gibt es: Am Ankunftstag gab eine warmes Wasser, nach Rücksprache mit der Vermieterin war dieses Problem innerhalb eine 1/2 Stunden erledigt, das zweite Manko war das Fernsehen: Nur franz. sprachige Programme, keine englisch bzw. deutsch sprachige.
Un appartement sympa où rien ne manque, dans un quartier calme avec vue sur le vieux Vence que l'on peut rejoindre à pieds en 10 minutes. Une grande terrasse où l'on peut dormir au soleil, manger tranquillement... avec les tourterelles posées sur la balustrade. On recommande.
Nous avons passé 4 semaines dans cet appartement à Vence, en partie pour faire du télétravail. Ce fut parfait! L’appartement est super bien équipé ( internet, écrans, chaise de travail, etc.). La ville de Vence à proximité ( là distance de marche) est dynamique et a tout ce qu’il faut pour ce type de séjour. Et la situation est idéale pour visiter la région.
Der Aufenthalt war im Ganzen sehr schön. Jedoch muss man mit extremen Geräuschbelästigungen durch Motorrädern in der Nacht, Wettfahrten sowie Rollern rechnen.
Die Garage ist klasse bis auf die Einfahrt. Auch meine Autoseite hat leider gelitten.
Die Wohnung ist gross und schön eingerichtet. Balkon mehr als ausreichend und Bewohner des Hauses sehr freundlich.
Vence ist eine sehr schöne Stadt!!

Check in und out problemlos, sehr sehr sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an fast nichts außer: keine Mikrowelle
(gehört zur Grundausstattung, war auch angegeben), keine Klimaanlage, an heißen Tagen aber notwendig.
Die Wohnung entspricht der Beschreibung, ist gut ausgestattet und wohnlich eingerichtet. Sie liegt außerhalb der historischen Altstadt, die sich auf einem Hügel befindet. Fußweg 15 min meist bergauf. Traumhaft der Blick von der Terrasse auf die Altstadt und in die Landschaft. Wir haben unser tägliches Frühstück von dort sehr genossen. Vence ist ein netter überschaubarer Ort mit sehr guten gastronomischen Angeboten. Es war für uns ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

The property had everything you could wish for and was well sited for some magnificent views of Vence from the huge balcony . A truly wonderful holiday.
Sehr schöne Wohnung mit toller Aussicht und super Balkon
Die Wohnung liegt im 1. OG ohne Aufzug. Sie hat ein tolles Wohnzimmer mit einem großartigen Balkon, von dem man eine schöne Aussicht auf Vence hat. Die beiden Schlafzimmer sind großzügig. Alle Fenster sind mit Rollläden ausgestattet (wichtig für die Beschattung), die i.d.R. elektrisch bedient werden können . Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und bietet einen sehr guten Komfort. Das Badezimmer ist ausreichend, es gibt zusätzlich ein extra Bad.
In einem Schrank ist eine alte "Heizanlage". Wie die funktionieren soll, weiß ich nicht. Also in der kühleren Jahreszeit könnte es durchaus frisch werden, da die Fenster einglasig sind, die Türen auch nicht dicht schließen.
Die Garage ist für ein Auto mit 4,60m Länge definitiv zu kurz. Nur mit viel Mühe und mit Einklappen der Spiegel kommt man rein und raus, aber dann geht das Tor nicht mehr zu. Wir haben unser Auto auf dem Besucherparkplatz bzw. auf der Strasse abgestellt.
Zur Altstadt (Einkaufsmöglichkeiten) muss man ziemlich steil den Berg rauf (5-10 Min). Richtiger Frühsport.
Sauberkeit: hier habe ich Abzüge gegeben; Mülleimer in Bad und Toilette waren voll, Der Fussboden war ziemlich dreckig (u.a. Haarbüschel), so dass wir erst selbst mal durchwischten, Auf einem Betttuch waren Haare (das haben wir dann nochmal gewaschen). Das ist ein kleiner Wermutstropfen für eine ansonsten echt tolle Wohnung. Ich würde Sie trotzdem wieder buchen, wenn ich nach Vence komme
L'impression générale est celle d'un appartement baigné de lumière. La grande terrasse et l'ouverture des baies vitrées du logement sur 2 côtés permet de bénéficier d'une fraicheur bienvenue en période de canicule. La vue magnifique sur Vence complète cette impression de calme.

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft
In dieser wunderbaren Ferienwohnung haben wir erholsame Tage verbracht. Das Appartement ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, bietet mehrere Räume und es fehlt an nichts! Die Küche ist mit allen Geräten ausgestattet. Der Balkon ist groß, komfortabel möbliert und hat eine sehr schöne Aussicht auf die Altstadt von Vence. Es war überall sehr sauber.
Wir können diese Wohnung sehr empfehlen.

Nice appartment with a view
We stayed 6 days in this lovely appartment. There is everything needed and the terrace has a magnificent view. The only little problem is the garage, which is very small and not easy to park in, but then you may use the street. All in all we can only recommend this spot, and Coco, our landlady, was very helpful and answered all our questions.
