"I stayed for 10 day's,only got a laundry bag for the 1st day. The drapes were in a poor state with masking tape over some of the holes in it. Restocking and cleaning of the room was good . The hotel is located close to many mosques so it was noisy in the morning even with the windows closed."

"I loved staying at the Mahalaya Hotel in Solo. The staff are all so friendly yet professional, the rooms spacious and quiet, the breakfast delicious and the location super convenient. The pool is an added bonus. Many other reviewers noted the swimming lessons that are conducted in the pool and how these seem to take over the area when they're on. During my stay, yes, there were classes on but not all the time, which meant that there were also times I was able to enjoy the pool all to myself. Running these classes is clearly a business model that is working for the hotel but it's also important to remember that learning how to swim is a vital skill for children to have. I applaud the hotel for giving children this opportunity. Looking forward to staying here on my next visit to Solo."
