Everything was great. The host is attentive when needed but if you plan to use the pool or gym facilities you will need to be let in by the host. Not a problem aslong as you give 30 minutes ahead of time you need to use it.

Wonderful stay and perfect location. Clean rooms, helpful and attentive staff- we had an issue with our air conditioner and they fixed the issue straight away. Will stay here again

I've stayed in HCMC quite a few times and always try to book a different hotel to get different experiences. I will say that Myst is one of my favorites. From the styling of the room, lobby, pool, and everywhere in between, it had loads of character. I especially appreciated the coffee table book that explained the history of the different pieces of artwork and furniture inside the rooms and halls. The pool was a nice and relaxing atmosphere with a pretty good view - I think I would've preferred slightly less vegetation to see the skyline/sun a bit better but it felt very serene. I had a jacuzzi tub on the balcony which overlooked the Saigon river - it was a nice relaxing soak, especially with the included epsom salts to add to the water. The breakfasts were pretty good - not the best I've had in HCMC, but definitely in the upper tier.
It's a good location that's within walking distance of the opera house, Ben Tanh market and Saigon square shopping centers. As much as I enjoy staying at different hotels each time I'm in HCMC, I think I would book this one again.
