Strathmaddie Farm Cottage is a beautiful barn conversion nestled at the foot of Cairnsmore of Fleet in the Galloway Hills. It boasts a commanding position, being elevated between the lower woodlands and fertile coastal farming lands of Wigtown Bay. With excellent views of the beautiful estuary and surrounding bay, the cottage offers a wonderful experience to all those who enjoy and appreciate a cosy countryside retreat. The location could not be better; close to the UK’s largest forest park which offers a myriad of activities from walking and climbing to fishing and wildlife watching and of course the world renowned 7Stanes mountain biking experience.

Fabulous cottage.

Fabulous cottage. Everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday. Extremely peaceful . If your looking for somewhere to switch off and recharge, this is the place for you. Our 2 year old pointer absolutely loved the garden, fully enclosed so safe for dogs and children. Close to Newton Stewart for shops. Fabulous beaches and lots of good walks close by. Would highly recommend this comfortable spotlessly clean property.
