A beautiful, small hotel. We were not there much. But, slept well in this beautiful, spacious room.

The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest, everything else was nice bed was very comfortable and location was great.

This is my third stay and it just keeps getting better! I was in town to attend the Princess Buffet with my granddaughters which happened to be located in the hotel's restaurant. Whoever organized this event did an amazing job! The decorations, food and treats for the young princesses were wonderful and well thoughout. The best feature was the very talented young women dressed as Disney pricesses who sang and greeted each girl at their table to chat. That being said, my room was fresh and clean as usual and my granddaughter enjoyed looking at the boats from the balcony. Check in was easy and all the staff I met was very friendly and helpful. The Smithfield Station is very accomodating and perfectly located near all the wonderful attractions of the town of Smithfield - you wil not be disappointed!

The main problem we had was that our room which was on the first floor was extraordinarily humid and damp to the point that you had to wear your shoes to keep your socks & feet from being sticky from the carpet. The only way you could get the humidity out of the room was to crank the air-conditioning to 62° so then you have to decide if you want to freeze or be damp and sticky. Also, at some point years past, they painted the tub and showers, so as your showering, you need to wear your shoes because otherwise the paint is peeling off and sticking all over your feet, which is quite disgusting and looks disgusting. We did mention it to the front desk. We were told sorry and that they are in the process of redoing tubs and showers but really it was just sorry. No offer for even partial refund.
