Perfect location in Newport
This is our second time staying at one of the suites at this property. It’s such a great place! The suites are so spacious. Plenty of room to relax. We love that there is a washer / dryer and kitchen. Our kids love the pool. We love the location. Both times we’ve come on kids’ spring break in April and while it’s not very warm, it’s a beautiful time to explore Newport without all of the crowds. Highly recommend this property!

Charming Condo in the perfect location
When you exit the elevator for this unit, you share the floor with just 1 other unit which is incredibly convenient. The unit itself is well laid out and very clean. The balconies on both side of the condo give you fantastic views of both town and the harbor. It is centrally located and readily accessible to both shopping and dining. We will surely look to book this condo again.

Location, Location, Location!
This was our annual girls trip. By far, one of our favorite trips ever! We were so presently surprised how comfy and cozy this Vrbo was. It had everything we needed in a Vrbo. The beds were super comfy!! Like a plushy cloud. It came with 2 decks, a view of the parking lot and a view of the ocean/harbor. Just so relaxing. We had wine/cheese at sunset. At night we lit the gas fire place and watched the UConn championship game. In which we found the couch and two chairs very comfy. There’s a small kitchen which was very convenient. We just had breakfast and apps. The amenities for cooking is kind of slim. But everything you need. The location is prime! Within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants!! Parking is easy. And if you’re on an upper level. There are roll aways and an elevator. For the price. We could not pass this up. Hope they keep it this way. This is the best time of the year to go to NewPort! We had a great time!

Great space and location
This is our second visit to Wyndham Right on the Water. Location and size of unit was perfect for 3 adults. All and all I rate it a 4 stars due to some small issues with cleanliness. This would not deter us from staying there again but should be addressed. Light switches need cleaning and a few places in the kitchen had small spots/drips from cooking. Crumbs along baseboard near twin bedroom.

After inital blip, a 3rd great stay
This was our 3rd stay this year for a 2 bedroom with king size bed in master and twin bed in BR2 unit. The first unit we were assigned in "A" lobby did not have a king bed at all, after we had hauled all of our luggage up we saw the bed was clearly not a king, also very low to floor and no chair in the master bedroom (other than that unit was fine). The kitchen was odd with no cabinet below sink, very exposed. Had to return to lobby and after inital discussion with manager he said our first unit was king,( it was not as we've already stayed twice this year in their king units -- it was a much smaller bed that had 2 king size pillows on it), he kindly escorted me to an alternate unit which had the king bedroom with chair in master we are accustomed to, so all 4 of us moved. Turns out the first unit was a handicap unit, so perhaps that is why the bed was so much smaller and lower with no chair to accommodate wheelchairs, which I can appreciate is needed by guests who need this feature. We do not need or want such features and will not stay in such a unit, we are both tall and need a true king size bed at normal height as we have had in all prior stays here. We love staying at Newport onshore, but will think twice about booking again as we do not want to go through this hassle again and we only find out our room assignment upon checkin, will never stay in A unit. PERIOD. The employees of this complex all do a great job, the manager Peter we quite nice to change us.

WiFi was WEAK and kept dropping. Also, the company lost my email address and phone number so I didn’t receive any check in information…which was important since we checked in “after hours.” The apartment was nice and well appointed and the beds were VERY comfortable. The location was AWESOME!!!

Downtown Newport on the marina
Very nice location, right in downtown Newport on the docks. Place very nicely set up, great views of the bridge and boats. Bedrooms and bathrooms good. Kitchen well equipped. Furniture comfortable. We will be back again. Only negative, parking is tight to navigate near building and parked cars. My car was bumped into and slightly damaged.

I loved the place. As a member of the Newport diaspora I have a great affinity for the wharf area and Thames St. Family members and I had a great time walking about and reliving memories of the area. My only comment that could be considered somewhat less complimentary is that I arrived late and the check-in situation for checking in during the evening is not very smooth.

Little Getaway

Stop your searching and book this peaceful beauty today! I thought the price was a typo… Two bedrooms, two baths, a fake fireplace (easier in the settings, in my opinion), a full kitchen, a dining room, living room, and TWO balconies with beautiful ocean views for THAT price? And the decor was something out of a magazine, plus it was so clean and recently updated. This was our first trip to Rhode Island and our first time seeing a New England ocean. Let me tell you how beautiful this place is: we changed our flights and stayed an extra day! I wish I was back there right now, ha ha. You can bet that we will be back!
