The location is perfect — right on Thames street with easy walking access to restaurants and shops. It’s also an easy walk to the cliffs and mansions, and our kids loved that there’s a cute little ice cream shop right behind the house. :) The upstairs bedroom was perfect for our 3 kids, and it was great to have a bathroom on both floors. The finishings in the home were beautiful and everything was clean and ready to go when we arrived. Checkin and checkout were simple and seamless, and the hosts were quick to respond to messages. It’s also a definite bonus to have on-site parking. Street noise was minimal, but we were visiting during the off-season so the town was quieter in general. (Our son has several special needs where we generally need an independent house, but fortunately we were able to make this work. The immediate proximity to downtown was helpful for restaurant access and walking around, but you know when the bars let out for the night due to the volume spike - be warned!
