It wouldn’t have been terrible if it wasn’t cold outside, it was freezing inside with no heat and the trip down the gravel hill was awful. And the trip back up was awful I messed my car up and almost slid off road

Unique experience. Loved our little camp site. The hot tub was perfect. The stream was very nice and relaxing... The pond was beautiful. Would only change the ladder that led to bed in the loft. Maybe one with handles on top.

Winter getaway
We intentionally wanted a get away with snow and we got that. However even with 4wd, access to location was not possible because roads were not salted. We arrived on Friday and ended up having to go to a local hotel. The next day the owner arranged for us to be ATV'd to our tiny get away. The location was not salted and it was super icy. The tiny get away was not great with maintaining heat, etc in the severe conditions. We should not have been charged for Friday night and should have been given a discount for Saturday evening in my opinion.

It’s a cute little tiny home, very tiny, but as listed. The only thing is that you do feel a little claustrophobic in the bed and the bathroom has water damage on the floor around the toilet. Otherwise a great place and nice surroundings

Amazing stay at the Tiny Owl!
We loved our stay at the Tiny Owl! It is a very small cabin but worked great for us as we were out and about all day and only came back to the cabin to make dinner and sleep. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after being in the cold all day. There are other cabins around but it still feels very secluded and off the beaten path! I would highly recommended staying in the Tiny Owl for anyone on a budget. We will most definitely be back in the future to check out the other cabins on site!

Customer service was top notch. We has a little problem with knocking pipes in the cabin, and they worked around the clock to fix it ASAP and even brought us extra firewood for the inconvenience.

Nice getaway
The stay was great enjoyed all the amenities… it is quite a trek on some bumpy roads but with it. All that needs updated is the toilet. Not as sturdy as it should be.

My husband and i had a wonderful time staying here. Wish we would have spent more time just relaxing but there was so much we wanted to do in a short time. This tiny cabin worked well for us. It is small but cozy. There is no oven but has the grill and fire pit outside and a stove top inside but no microwave. The property is beutiful defenitly recommend a 4x4 to get there. I would defenitly stay again and just enjoy the peacefulness.

Expected a tiny cabin but it was really a box trailer modified into a camper dressed as a Cabin. No privacy as other tenants have to use the driveway that is less than 4 feet away from this “cabin” to reach their cabin, no blinds on windows and camper black water/grey water smell leaking into cabin constantly. Road to access to this “cabin” is nearly impossible even for AWD vehicles. Booked for 2 nights and stayed for 1 wasn’t worth staying another night at. Also AC struggled to keep cabin cool.

We would like to clarify that our property is actually a wooden insulated built tiny home and is not a trailer modified camper. Regarding the road, we are situated in the mountains, which naturally means that the road leading to our property is a mountainous road. Which requires a little different driving technique. You do not need a four-wheel-drive. We would like to assure you that had you reached out to us about any issues, such as water leaking, or AC we would have been more than happy to come down and address them promptly. Overall I enjoyed my stay. The location is very peaceful and quiet. Close to Gatlinburg and the Smokey Mountains. Just be prepared for very bumpy drive to Tiny Owl.

We enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was nice and relaxing. The only thing we needed while there was silverware. We had brought home food for dinner and nothing to eat it with. We will plannto visit again, and be sure to pick up disposable utensils to eat with.😉

Linens could nicer, and entrance to the cabin is very unsafe,
Tiny awl is cute and charming, however is definitely a place for older people. Getting to the sleeping quarters Is challenging. Over all it was nice.

Not what we expected
As soon as we walked in it smelled like sewage. We were told we had guaranteed heat but the heater they had worked terribly and it was already freezing outside so that was terrible! Had to leave early because of the frozen water and lack of heat. They would not let us reschedule or give us a refund. They did offer us to reschedule before they came but made us aware we would have heat so we did not.

Tiny Getaway
We loved our stay in the "Tiny Owl" cabin and highly recommend it. It's tucked back in a mountain crevice that is fairly easy to get into, but not so easy to get out of. Some of the gravel roads and steep hills are challenging to drive, but we made it along fine in our two-wheel drive truck. This cabin experience was somewhat like staying in a camper, which is fine with us--we love campers. The bathroom and sleeping areas are a little tight, but were perfectly sufficient for our needs. The hot tub was a wonderful luxury to have right outside our door. We'd definitely stay here again if we were in the area, but I think for our next visit to the Smoky Mountains, we'll head a little further south. This cabin sits almost on the Blue Ridge/Smoky Mountain border and is very accessible to both Asheville and Gatlinburg.

Needed a place to relax for the weekend to get away from work. This place was perfection and had everything you’d ever need. Campers around you are friendly. One of our favorite moments was hanging out in the hot tub with the sheep pen across from us. Was an awesome view.

We loved our stay at the mini-house cabin! The location was beautiful, the cabin was clean and the property amenities were excellent. You reach the property via a gravel road and the last stretch may be a bit difficult without 4-wheel drive, but there is parking available before the last stretch — just plan accordingly.

Life's short, make memories
This area was so peaceful and relaxing and that's just what we needed. Like many people have said this is TINY HOME living, so there is not much space but its perfect for two!! We chose the Tiny Owl specifically for the creek view when walking out the front and it did not disappoint! My boyfriend and I loved the two dogs greeting us and checking on us each day, haha! We also loved the Sheep, chickens and goats! We did have a little mishap happen when we arrived, a couple was already in our place, but Tammy came down and made things right. We stayed in another unit until the next day. She is the most kind person you will meet. I cannot say enough nice stuff about her! I recommend staying in these homes if you love nature and want a great experience! *Also I read some reviews talking about the drive in and out. If you are not familiar with driving on gravel (especially gravel hills) then you may have issues. Advice: once you get rolling, don't stop, haha. We had no issues and my boyfriend drives a manual, honda civic. The only negative thing I have is the AC unit, its not the best and our first night was a bit miserable. We slept with no blankets on the entire night but other than that it was awesome! (For the owners): This home needs the AC unit that Tiny Fox has in it, if possible, it worked great!! Overall 10/10 would recommend!!

Great if you know what you are getting.
I read the sq so I knew exactly what I was getting. A outdoor private Jacuzzi deep in the woods and a tiny cabin mostly for adult fun and sleeping. I do not regret this at all. FYI, if you are parking at the cabin be sure to put your car in low and get a running start before climbing up the steep dirt road back out.

AC sucked. Sewage smell throughout cabin.
Had to run to Lowes to get a small AC unit to cool the place and tried to use air freshners to get rid of the sewage smell but no luck. Other than that, the place was in a nice location and we enjoyed our trip.

Perfect trip to the mountains!
Wow! Had an amazing time at Tiny Owl! The cabin was beautiful and we had everything we needed at arms length from the hot tub to the fire wood to the grocery store just 15 mins away! The hot tub was so refreshing and delightful in the cool mountain air. We enjoyed cooking our own meals with the stove and eating them outside while we heard the creek babbling. Also, we really appreciated them accommodating our cat! It can be so hard to find a cat-friendly booking and he really enjoyed his stay here. (: Only thing to note is that the nook made for watching TV is a bit uncomfortable if you sit for longer than 20 mins so if you're really interested in watching movies while you're at the cabin, we brought a laptop with a DVD drive and watched them that way while laying on the bed. Otherwise, an amazing little cabin! Can't say enough good things. We'll be back!

PHENOMENAL STAY!
Sam and Tammy have truly made a great escape. Some of the reviews posted do not do it justice. You must understand: this place is in the mountains. The roads are mountain roads. Be prepared. We took my truck and had no issues. The roads were a little tight as far as getting the truck turned around but nothing a 6 point turn couldn't accomplish. The Tiny Owl was wonderful. It is a TINY HOME...be prepared for what it I if you rent it. We thought it was a great experience. It stayed warm even when Temps dropped into the teens. The owners had provided all cookware and utensils needed except that we did end up gifting a can opener. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The setting could not have been better. Meer steps from a stream which provided a wonderful backdrop. The hottub was a great addition! The cabins at that area are a little more close to each other than we had expected but we're not necessarily on top of each other as at some other places. They do offer other cabins further up the mountain tho that are more removed. Overall, this was one of the greatest places we've stayed and will definitely book again in the future.

Tiny Owl is indeed just that, tiny, but it served it's purpose. I'm not sure I'd want to reserve this with a friend, only because it's so tight. I slept wonderfully so the mattress and bedding were great!!!! I wish there had been some activity at the music barn, but for the most part, this was a nice stay. Tammy and Sam were very nice and accommodating.
