We really enjoyed the large open kitchen and living area with all the windows that open onto the deck. The place was clean and welcoming. Most of the place was nicely updated. The sometimes bustling restaurant with the sounds of people enjoying themselves right next door was a non-issue most nights after 8:30 p.m. after which everything was very quiet and relaxing. I loved having air-conditioning (which worked perfectly and quietly) and a reserved, covered driveway parking spot (an uncommon amenity on the island). It's also great being next to Todos Santos for coffee in the morning and amazing dinner in the evening. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. ##### Elizabeth T. We have stayed in several rentals in the Newport Beach area. This place is definitely a favorite! Clean, amazing location, plenty of room, awesome kitchen. We stayed here during the first hurricane in the area in over 80 years. The owners kept us informed, and checked on us throughout the storm. We were safe and sound in this rental. Easy to take the ferry or walk into town. Home was beautiful and having a parking spot every day and not having to look for on street parking was icing on the cake! The cleaning person forgot to change the sheets in the master bedroom because they were not clean at all but I am sure it was just an oversight. This accommodation was great. The best highlights were: Walking pretty much everywhere on Balboa Island. Walking to the ferry to get to Balboa Peninsula and exploring around there, and walking to the beaches. My kids loved the small park across the street with the basketball goal and playground. The restaurant right next door served delicious Mexican food. We invited my sister's family over, and I grilled dinner for everyone. The dedicated parking spot is great! Overall we were very happy with the accommodation and would stay there again. ##### Troy H. Quiet and lovely weather, and the location of this rental worked out perfect for us. We loved being able to open the French doors and letting the weather in. Property Manager was very responsive and helpful, and also welcomed us nicely. The host was great to work with and the place is very comfortable. It was nice having a place with A/C as well as a reserved area to park. We had an SUV car rental and had plenty of space to park. We had everything we needed while staying there and the patio is so nice to sit out on during the day and very private. The location is great, just right down from where the ferry comes in. We really enjoyed walking around the island every morning and the shops and restaurants are all very good. We are already looking forward to our next trip back! ##### Jerri H. My only negative comment is I had to pay a $140 fee to VRBO. But thereafter all arrangements and communication was thru iTrip. iTrip was very helpful, professional and courteous. A short walk to the strip of shops / restaurants on balboa island. Hop right on to the ferry to get over to the balboa peninsula. Have an awesome Mexican restaurant right underneath. It was a very comfortable space for 2 adults but could have fit 4 if needed. We really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen as we were cooking healthy meals at home. We stayed 7 nights at this apartment. Could not have been happier with the location. Parking was a luxury if anyone has stayed on Balboa Island knows. Would love to return. There's always fun things to do within walking distance, whether it's shopping or the beach. The condo is perfect. Everything is well put together and the air-conditioning keeps the condo the right temp all day. On the balcony, the awning provides a break from the direct sunlight and lets you enjoy time outside with family or people watching on the street. We will be back again for a 4th time soon! The Ferry is right down the street, giving us easy access to the beach, the pier, and Newport Landing Restaurant on the other side. It is a short walk to the boardwalk and the shops on Marine. Being two bedrooms, I could use one as an office, as I brought a card table to set up in the unused room. All rooms are air-conditioned and work effectively and quietly. While there is no garage, there is a canvas canopy where one can park their car. We especially liked the large, front porch with the overhead awnings where we could eat our meals and sit any time of day. The TV was very nice and there were many channels from which to choose.
