This is Biogradska Lake, and you can take a very easy walk around it in less than an hour. More adventurous walkers can walk to Mt Bendovac, although be warned the walk takes almost double the advertised 1 hour and 45 minutes. There is no public transport from the nearest town of Kolasin, to Biogradska. A bus can drop you at the bottom of the road to the lake, but it's about an hour walk. While the location is right in between Dumitor and Biogradska National Parks, the house is several Kilometres off the main road and it takes a good 15 minutes to get to the road. The last 2 Km are a dirt road and although it says you don’t need an SUV, you really did. Our small rental cars struggled to get up the roads and almost didn’t make it up the hills. The house was comfortable but very hot during the day since there is no air conditioning. There are fans in each room. Make sure you bring in provisions for your stay because the markets are quite far. Overall, we were quite happy with our stay because we wanted to be away from the crowds. There was a sewage smell in the upstairs bathroom that we tried to solve but it kept coming back and it would be nice if the owners cleaned out more space in the kitchen for renters to put away their food. ##### Tina A. This is the best house I've lived in my whole life! The view from the window is amazing, each room has a separate toilet and shower, the interior of the house is very modern and stylish. The stars are very clearly visible at night. And one morning we were awakened by the knock of a woodpecker (bird) at the window.
