    Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burners included. Welcome pack. Small enclosed patio with garden furniture. Bike store. On road parking. No smoking.. Set in the heart of the historic village of Elsdon, within the Northumberland National Park, this unique and beautifully presented cottage with a spacious beamed living room and charming beamed dining room, there are two bedrooms each with ornamental fireplace and rugs on the pine floors, it adjoins a public house and overlooks the village green: rumoured to be one of the largest in England, with its 13th-century church and 15th-century pele tower, as well as a Norman motte and bailey fortification. This is a wonderful touring area with the Borders, Northumberland coast, Kielder Water and Hadrian’s Wall all within easy reach, as well as Alnwick gardens and several other National Trust properties. Shops 4 miles.
